  Baldwin took approximately 3 weeks to complete the work. Rain was part of the reason for the time. Also, the company has different crews/speciallists. One crew (2 people) did the siding, one crew did the gutters and one crew did the patio cover. I liked this because I'd prefer speciallists do the work rather than a "jack of all trades"show more

  Kevin and his staff had previously replaced some windows in our home and did a great job. Although this event caused a much larger project, it was completed in the same flawless manner. The materials were ready when Kevin said they would be and they were installed either early or on time. Not only was the work done right the first time, but everyone cleaned up after themselves. Of all the crews we have had working on our home, Kevin's people are the most professional. But that should be expected because he personally sets the standards for his company. He not only sets the standard, he lives the standard. He does what he says he will do when, or before, he says he will do it. He returns phone calls and responds to voicemails messages better than anyone else we have dealt with. His rates are more than fair but, he is not the "cheapest bid". If you are looking to get the job done as inexpensively as possible please don't waste his time and when your job "goes south" remember that you get what you pay for. As previously stated, this is not the first time Kevin has done work in our home and I doubt it will be the last. If there was a rating above "A" he would deserve itshow more

  My 35-year old 25’x15’ low ceiling porch was in dire need of replacement due to termite, hail and water damage. I looked on Angie’s List for somebody who could tear it down and build a new custom screened in porch that was better than the old one. One thing I really wanted was a vaulted ceiling so I could have a ceiling fan. Overall this was a pretty big and somewhat complex project and I was hoping I could find one person who could do it all and see the same vision I had for the finished project. After calling several other contractors who didn’t respond, didn’t seem interested, or said they couldn’t do the entire job, I called Bob Mitchell (a.k.a. The Porch Professor) at MitchCo Construction. He came out the next day and spent almost 2 hours discussing all of the things I wanted done and making sure he understood and shared the same vision that I had of my new porch and the other tasks which needed to be done. In 2 days he sent me a bid for the entire project and said he wanted to come out again and discuss the bid to make sure he had included everything. Bob told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they could start and that was fine. Then he called and said they could start sooner. In addition to all the other good things I have to say about Bob, one of the best things was his constant communication. If something was going to be late or early, if a material delivery was going to be made, or if he just wanted to ask a question to clarify something about the project, he would call to let me know. We must have talked or texted at least 100 times during the course of the entire project. Bob’s crew was really enjoyable to work with. They showed up on time, were very friendly and courteous, and cleaned up their mess at the end of each day. They didn’t mind if I watched while they worked or asked questions about what they were doing. Other than the actual work done, the best thing about the entire project was Bob Mitchell himself. He is a great person to work with and has a high level of attention to detail. If something wasn’t right, it got redone. He even re-did a piece of trim that he himself put up because in his words “it just didn’t look right”. Bottom line is, if you want a great job that’s done right, call Bob Mitchellshow more

  I had guttering installed by mitchCo they did an excellent job, they were very professional, tidy , on time,and all the workers Were very well mannered.i had an emergency and had to leave And they locked and shut every door and gate as asked.   They were very professional. Price was high but you get what you pay for. There was some delay in finishing the room because parts were broken in the shipping process and we had to wait for new parts to be reordered. Now that they are finished the room is exactly what we want and everyone loves it.
