"After an initial week delay (due to rain delays on other jobs), Ricardo and his crew did an awesome job. They were here by 7-8 every day (3 days). They power washed the whole house taped everything off, then did it all again to paint the trim color. The even taped off the detached garage to prevent over spray (garage not painted). They cleaned everything up there was no over spray anywhere. The 3 guys on the crew were polite and friendly even though it was over 100° every day! I'm definitely using them when we remodel our master bath next year and when the interior needs painting!"

"We have been very pleased with Oklahoma Waterscapes. We had a pool put in this season. The cost was lower than other pool installers we looked at. The schedule was in line with what they said. We didnâ t have any major negatives. Tim and Carlos were both very quick to respond to issues. I would hire Oklahoma Waterscapes again."

"Liz and her team did a great job resurfacing and re-tiling our pool. She is responsive, detailed and takes her time with you. She explained every step of the process and ALWAYS RETURNED PHONE CALLS IMMEDIATELY. We did have one issue when the tile guys installed the wrong tile. Liz gave us a couple of options and we had her replace the incorrect tile. She did it without complaining, never tried to make an excuse, just simply fixed the problem. You can't ask for much more than that. One suggestion during the sandblasting phase (which is why the rating is 4.5 vs. 5.0) is to put towels or something in your skimmer before they sandblast. We ended up with sand in the multiport valve and had to clean it a few times to get all the sand out. Other than that it was a great experience, she didn't try and oversell us something we did not need, didn't find any "hidden problems" that would have increased the cost and she did what she said she would do. I have NEVER written a positive review for a contractor before, but Liz is the real deal. She is all about customer service. Thank you Liz."

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.
