"It worked out really well. It got off to a kind of a rocky start but they did a good job. They were very prompt in coming out and giving me a written estimate. They used quality materials, some really good Sherwin Williams duration paint. I contracted with them last November and they didn't do the work until June. Obviously, a large part of it was because of the winter weather. They couldn't do it during the winter. We also had a very rainy spring, so they could not get here to do the work until the last week of May. We had an issue with communication. The gentleman who was in charge of the whole project, whose name was Alan Farmer, was very professional and very courteous. He explained everything they were doing. But I did have a problem and he did not return my phone calls at the beginning. It turned out to be a voicemail issue that he had on his end. But I got pretty frustrated. Once we got on track, they had a couple of issues that delayed the work. He had some health problems. They also had another job or two that they had not finished yet. So they didn't come here and work straight through. There were some gaps in time that I found a little bit annoying but the work that they did was so good that I basically think it was worth it in the long run.

I am updating my review a year later. Over time, I have noticed places where the painters didn't do an adequate job of covering the old paint, either by not applying a second coat or where they completely missed spots. They spilled paint on my roof (visible from the street) and my back porch (natural wood finish). The two wooden columns are not of good quality wood: the finish is rough and shows knotholes, and the overall effect is that it was done by an amateur. Again, not enough paint to cover the bare wood.

The workmen failed to remove the decals on the inside of the large window over my porch, even though I pointed that out. I cannot reach that high up to remove them (10 feet), and it detracts from the appearance.

During the work, one of the painters lost his footing and fell from the main roof onto the roof of my back porch. Not only was the man injured, but he refused my repeated requests to let me call 911. He appeared to have scraped his shin bone. Distressing for everyone, and I can only hope his injuries healed.

I don't know if this company is even in business any more, but if so, I would NOT recommend them."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

When hiring pest control pros in Wooster, prioritize those with local experience, knowledge of regional pest patterns, and expertise in integrated pest management. Look for clear service plans, written guarantees, and positive reviews from Wooster residents. Ask about their approach to exclusion, safety for children and pets, and follow-up visits. Avoid companies with vague contracts or aggressive sales tactics.

Helpful?

In Wooster, unexpected pest control costs may arise from repairing damage caused by rodents or termites, extra charges for sealing crawl spaces or attics, and moisture control improvements. Treating detached garages or sheds, emergency visits during pest surges, and requests for eco-friendly solutions can also add to expenses. Older homes and properties near fields may require more extensive exclusion and monitoring.

Helpful?

Pest control maintenance in Wooster involves several seasonal steps: inspect and seal gaps in spring, monitor for increased insect activity and manage yard moisture in summer, clear leaves and reinforce exclusion barriers in fall, and check for indoor pests during winter. Consistent monthly checks, quarterly professional treatments, and annual reviews tailored to Wooster’s climate and pest types help ensure year-round protection.

Helpful?

Combining pest control with upgrades such as attic insulation, foundation sealing, or basement waterproofing in Wooster is highly effective. This approach lets you address pest entry points, moisture control, and energy efficiency together. Coordinating projects during spring or fall streamlines scheduling and reduces disruption, while making your home more resilient to both pests and seasonal weather common in Wooster.

Helpful?

In Wooster, the longevity of pest control depends on factors like the timing of treatments, the area’s humid summers, and the prevalence of pests such as ants, spiders, and rodents. Success is improved by combining integrated pest management, seasonal pest prevention, and exclusion techniques—like sealing foundation cracks and attic vents. Regular inspections and adapting strategies to Wooster’s agricultural surroundings also help maintain long-term protection.
