"Greg did a great job. He answered all my questions, told me what I needed (and not what I thought I might have needed or wanted), was prompt, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. His quote was a little higher, but the research I did on his film showed it to be better for the project I had in mind. It actually did what I hoped it would, and seems to be keeping my newly cleaned and redecorated (after 10+ years of neglect), single pane glassed in porch at least 15 degrees cooler. Yay..."

"Nine year old upper double hung window glass seal failure. Glass replaced under life-time warranty. Took about three weeks to order and 10 minutes to replace. Very satisfied."

"I had this company come out to do a glass enclosure for my master bath remodel. Was so impressed with both the office staff and the installer that I had them do another bathroom in my home. Always very timely and upfront with cost. No hidden fees or anything of that nature. Large selection on hardware is also a plus. Great value for the quality of work and unique design capabilities. ~Bryan"

"They were very prompt with coming out for initial estimate. We first met with Robert who was very knowledgeable, but a little pushy and very salesman like. At that time we did proceed with window order but not door. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel initial order. We did go to office a while later and met with Richard who was awesome and not at all pushy. We ended up ordering windows, doors and shutters. Richard was great and patient, despite us making two order changes (decided to enlarge one window and not get grids in the front door sidelights). Overall installers did a good job, there are a couple things I wish they had discussed better with my husband and myself. When all is said and done I am happy with our experience and purchase."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

Typically within a few hours, depending on the number and size of windows.

This can be a matter of personal preference, but a good rule of thumb is to center your bathroom mirror over the sink’s faucet. In some cases, if the sink is off-center in the vanity or  you have multiple sinks in the same vanity, you may find it more aesthetically pleasing to center the mirror over the vanity.

There are a few reasons your mirrors might have smears on them after cleaning, but the two most likely are remaining cleaning product and minerals from hard water. If you used a commercial glass cleaner, consider spraying down the mirror with a 1-to-1 ratio of white vinegar and water after cleaning and then wiping it dry with a cotton cloth. If you suspect hard water is the issue, use a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to spot-clean the streaks, and then let the mirror air-dry.

For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.
