"Nick was great to deal with from start to finish. He and Kevin provided quality work install a drainage system from my sump pump and gutter. I was very impressed with how friendly they were in taking time to to answer all of my questions. Not to mention the cost of my project was $700 less than other estimates that I received for companies that wanted to install corrugated pipe while NPM installed 35SDR PVC piping. When I asked the other companies about their cost to install 35SDF PVC piping it was $1400 more. So glad I found NPM and will be using them for many more projects in the future."

Applying heat directly to the pipe using heat tape, infrared lamps, or hot water jetting can speed up the process. However, patience and careful monitoring are key to avoiding pipe damage.

Concrete blocks are the cheapest way to base a shed. However, the space in between allows critters to go under, burrow, and even damage your shed’s frame. For a more pest-proof option, consider building a shed base with gravel or paver stones. Both options are fairly affordable and easy enough for a DIY project. For gravel, you can build a wooden frame to contain the loose material.

You can dig 60 to 80 linear feet by hand per day depending on the depth. Digging a 100-foot trench by hand will take you two work days, but it can take longer if you have heavy or rocky soil. In areas with colder winters, they may be buried deeper to prevent frozen well water pipes : This is usually at least six inches below the frost level. The International Plumbing Code calls for a minimum of 12 inches below grade.
