"We have a garage that runs underneath the house. The three rooms that were over the garage were colder than the rest of the house. In October we had Retrofoam inject foam insulation in the ceiling of the garage , hoping that would help warm those rooms. Now that we have had cold weather, I really notice how much warmer those rooms are. They did a good job, and there was no mess to clean up."

In very warm climates, reflective insulation can be a cost-effective choice. For cold climates, fiberglass is an excellent option due to its high R-value and resistance to settling over time. Spray foam works well in humid environments because of its moisture-resistant properties. For standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation are all suitable options.
