Negotiated a price but I gave him a $200 tip as they were clean, friendly, courteous, and respected my property. They taped everything that they needed to tape for painting. "Excellent work.  David (salesman) was professional and easy to work with - extremely responsive and easy to reach.  The two workers were friendly and willing to explain what was going on with the damage to the chimney and how and why they do what they do to make the repairs.  As they tore down the existing chimney they showed me four cracked sections of flue liner.  They protected the roof, arrived on time and the estimated duration of the project was accurate - 5 working days.  At first I thought the price was a little high but after receiving another bid and doing some research I learned the price was in line with what it takes to perform this type of work.  They anticipated replacing 1or 2 sections of flue liner and I expected an add to the price when I learned they had to replace 4 sections of flue liner - they did not ask for additional money.  The brick match was great.  I was concerned about this since the brick is 35 years old.  I would highly recommend Hicon."
