Interior painting involved two separate bids. The first was performed and paid for. The second involved my removing the wallpaper, cleaning out the china cabinet, and having them do the painting. I removed the wallpaper, moved everything into the living room, and when my house was completely torn apart, they started the job. Bill then announced that he was walking away from the contract. With my house in disarray, I asked what it would take for him to finish. He wanted to rewrite the contract, add $200 and charge by the hour for things he had previously included. Anxious to get my life back to normal, I agreed to his terms. It did not go well, but he did finish and then tried to charge me by the hour for work that had been included even in our second contract. What a nightmare! Sorry Bill, you will never work for me again.

"In regard to this posting, I have never walked off of a job during my career. The way the contract was written, was that we would work on "Rain Days" only.. This customer agreed to that. My company worked one day on this job then we pulled off for the next three days due to nice weather, which allowed us to work on a current exterior painting job. In regards to me trying to add things, the orignal contract did not include the cost of the materials needed for this job. This needed to be added to the contract. I showed the customer my orignial notes that showed the materals were not previously listed on the contract. This was shown to the customer on the first day of the job. In order to keep this client happy I ended up absorbing the cost of the materials, as they would not pay for them. To make a complaint against my company is absolutely ridiculous, especially when he shook my hand at the end f the job and told me how pleased he was with the job."

Bill was very patient in working with us to select colors. His crew (3 people) arrived on time and finished the complex front hallway, stairway and upstairs hall on time. everything looks very good.

The interior work was fantastic. The best I've seen in awhile! They were very precise and concerned with how I felt about the coatings. They were very professional. The cost was $4,000 for the inside and outside. I think the bedroom was a couple hundred and they did a couple of coats and they did the ceiling (1 coat), and the trim along the floor.

Bill returned my calls promptly . His estimate was in range with the other estimate that I received . When I accepted his bid , he told me approximately when the job would be completed . In fact , he completed the job a few weeks earlier than he had first stated .
He and his men were very professional and did a very good job . They cleaned up completely every night before leaving .
I am very happy with the job that they did . I would gladly contract with him again for both interior or exterior painting .

Called for an estimate and Bill answered the phone, made an appointment and he showed up on time. Accepted the bid. Showed up early for the paint job. Patched holes and cracks in the plaster added trim molding painted ceiling walls and trim-best room in the house now. No issues no problems 100% satisfied.

Bill and his team arrived every morning by 8AM, many times before 8. Over the course of two weeks, they caulked, re-nailed popped boards, sanded, scrapped and primed the stucco and wood on our house. They finished it all with two coats of paint and it turned out beautiful!

They originally gave us an estimate for the whole job. We agreed to the contract.
They were very thorough and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

Bill and his co-worker were outstanding! Each time I call Bill he makes every effort to make me a priority & get the job done. He is very responsive, friendly, & professional. My house is left very clean when they leave. I have found his prices to be fair. I am not able to paint myself because I just can't "cut in" properly. But I can't find a single flaw in the quality of their painting. When a job is complete, I am always sooooo happy that I called Bill. I would highly recommend Bill Lipp to anyone who is looking for a quality, hard-working painter.

They were very thorough and easy to deal with. They showed up when they said they would and cleaned up afterward. They also repaired a few small items in the process of exterior painting (small fence repair & replaced pane of glass in storm door). Would definitely recommend or use again myself. Bill clearly cares about doing a good job. I admit that I was kind of in a hurry so I did not get other quotes, but I felt like the price was fair & particularly after seeing the final product I had no qualms with the amount I paid.

I got a referral from a friend and called Bill; he was very prompt and professional but was higher than my other bids by several hundred dollars. I hesitated at first but after reviewing his credentials, I decided to go with Bill since he was so highly recommended.
I needed a few minor cracks in the ceiling repaired and some nail pops: I was told by Bill during the estimate that they automatically repair any small cracks etc. that they see. The skylights needed quite a bit of caulking and the job wasn't done very well at first but they went over it again.
This experience could have been improved if I would have requested that Bill write down everything that I saw during the estimate instead of thinking he would catch stuff as he went along. I had the skylight caulking and hammer dings re-done after they left and now it looks great.
After doing some re-touching the paint job now looks very good and Bill is a super nice guy. I would recommend Bill, but with the recommendation that you have him write down in your estimate everything you want him to do and don't assume. This could have easily went to an A rating instead of a B....Thanks.

If there was a problem with the job I would have preferred that it had been brought to my attention so that I could have resolved the issue. Any time you have a contractor working for you, if you are not totally satisified with something you need to bring it to the contractor's attention so that it can be dealt with at that time."

Bill had done work for a friend and she was happy, and his had been the lowest estimate received. So I decided to get an estimate from Bill and another company. Bill's price was considerably lower than the other company so we decided to hire him. His crew was large, quick, timely and professional. The job was done quickly and done well. We have recommended him to others and all have been happy with their work and value.

The job took the amount of time that was quoted by Bill and there were no added expenses. When I came home upon the day of completion my expectations were exceeded! There was never a mess at the end of the day during the job and Bill was very trustworthy to leave in my home unattended. It was exceptional and he does fantastic work.
