The general rule when painting a home on your own is one day per room. It can take longer based on room size, drying times for a particular paint, and the number of coats used. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application, allow ample primer drying time before painting (typically 24 to 48 hours), and thoroughly clean the deck boards to promote the best adhesion.
