Steve Harth explained all aspects of the project. He provided three options that I was able to choose the one that met my needs, price, and timetable. DJ and his crew worked hard and completed the job in a timely fashion in spite of the rainy weather. Chris did an excellent job leveling the concrete pad.

The absolute worst company ever. After our "opening" I didn't hear anything for weeks. I even sent several emails that I know they read (it's called didtheyreadit.com attached to an email), but didn't reply. After telling them I knew that they read it, they finally responded saying someone would call me, but they never did. Then, while on vacation, we got a call asking if their delivery people could drop stuff off in the garage. We had told them we'd be on vacation that week and not to schedule anything. BTW, this was the 3rd week of June. Fortunately I was able to give them a code to get in. When I complained, TBG stated that they didn't know when suppliers would be dropping off stuff. Even Home Depot gives a date, as does Lowes. So I call BS. That stuff sat in the garage for 3 more weeks. I finally called to see where we were at especially since the drywall was blocking my access to parts of the garage. I was told someone would be over to put the stuff in the basement. Never happened, but a week later I was told the carpenters would be coming. When they showed up, they were peeved that the drywall was in the garage. They had been told it was all in the basement. And then the fun really begins. TBG uses the lowest quality hack contractors that the market has to offer. The "carpenter" was dragging his buddy along to help out because he owed him a favor. Seriously? While building out my walls, they covered the only access I had to some storage behind the bathroom that was already there. The "carpenter" claimed he thought I had other access to it. Yet, he had moved the BB gun rifles to another location. He informs me it will cost more to install a door, a door that was already part of the project. Oh, did I mention, these poor contractors are stuck using some very rudimentary drawings they can see on their phones. I called TBG and they informed me a door would be added at no cost. In the meantime, because the "carpenter" had not cut the drywall down enough, some of the plumbing got pushed up and caused a leak to form. I couldn't get to it because the area was blocked. Once the "carpenter" was done, I expected him to take his debris. Nope, left it in my basement. I thought maybe when the next crew came I'd get them to take it. Instead, they came, installed my electricity (the only good part of this project....well mostly), and left more debris. I called and asked if they were going to pick it up. I was told someone would be by later in the week. Never happened. 2-3 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I call to get an update and am told that they are waiting on the carpet guy. We weren't even at that stage yet. The project manager was clueless. He then told me someone would be by at the end of the week or early the next. Nope. I called two weeks later and only then did they schedule someone to come out. That guy showed up, and did a decent job of prepping the area. The painting part though was not good. There are several bare spots and there are errant sprays of paint on the wood beams that they installed. I was planning to stain them but not now. I told them that I needed the carpet installed by the end of the next week. I was told I'd get a call. Oh, and I was told that after the painting was done, that someone would come get my debris. Guess what? Didn't happen. I had to call again. Then the carpet guy calls to schedule. He's their ONLY carpet guy. Seriously. He told me he couldn't get out to measure and would tell TBG that. He also told me he was only coming out to my house as a favor for TBG as it's too far usually. When I called to complain, the manager was aggressive, defensive, and very untruthful. He had the audacity to tell me I should understood the project would take 4-8 weeks to complete after opening. We're at 15 weeks. Moronic. Even their contractors have told me that there are serious communication issues, right down to the guy collecting the garbage. Stay away, stay very far away. Don't believe their reviews on their site. They weed out ones like this, I posted something similar there and it never showed up! Update: I got a call from Mike yet again telling me my job was bumped up. He said jobs sold today weren't opening until February of '23. I told him that was fine, but mine was sold in February of '22 with a promise to open on May '26. Also said he has 50 jobs and can't answer all emails when they come in or phone calls either. He stated that they usually get back in a couple of days. I told him I had left several emails and no-one replied until I told them I knew they were being read. He also told me that he told the carpenter that the stuff was in the garage. That tells me he never intended to get someon over. He also told me that they can't always get someone out right away to get trash. Fine, but 4 weeks? And after being told repeatedly it would be done. After the carpet was done, the guys left the debris in my driveway. How nice. Update 2: Still garbage in driveway 8 days later. They installed carpet last week. They left a ton of remnant pieces and trash in my driveway. Not in the garage where it should have been but in the driveway. They promised to come out by Friday to get it. They also promised to close out the project last Wednesday. Neither happened. They sent a guy on Thursday to close out the project. He informed me the trash would be collected on Monday. Didn't happen. I called yesterday and was told they weren't able to get to it YESTERDAY. I replied, "That's great, but it was supposed to be Monday!". I was informed I was the second stop today. Didn't happen. They called but I was in a meeting and missed the call. They didn't leave a message. I called and left one for them. I highly recommend against using this company. Please, tell a friend, don't use this company.

Initially, I started my work with Michelle, who came out worked with me on creating mentally what kind of basement I want. Gave me a couple options we went off with a basic one and we added in extra cost if I decided to go forward with carpet, different types of flooring, paint trim, but initially just bare bones and we added it on so I had to cost upfront. From now I worked with Diana, who is nothing short of spectacular, answering my phone calls or text messages with any questions. And the both of them were so great at working with me being an off shift person who sleeps during the day as a third shift worker not calling me outside of the hours I asked for, even finding ways to have the workers come at better hours. Everyone who worked on my basement did a great job Joe demo the framers don’t know their name. The electrician and Josh who did the paint to trim the flooring. But honestly solely based on Michelle and Diana I will definitely use this company again if i need more work.

The basement guys are a great company to work for. The staff is very knowledgeable, their follow up is good, and they weren’t pushy at all when I didn’t say yes the first time. When I decided to do the work, they showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and the quality was far above other companies I have used in the past. Would highly recommend!

We contracted to have one 14x12 room in the basement finished. Simple job. Paint finish work looks horrible. I could have easily done better myself. Molding finish work is bad showing nail holes and joints. Vinyl flooring does not reach all the way under the wall molding leaving gaps. Several times they showed up without calling or didn't show up when they said they would. This was a horrible experience.

Workers were respectful. Put down path to keep house clean. All around great experience

Everything went smoothly. Salesman Jeff came to the house and explained everything in very helpful and understanding terms and we agreed on a very fair price. Kyle was the main worker on the job and he was very polite and did the job very efficiently. Overall a very good experience and I would use them again

Process went very smooth with a quick install

Super professional. Salesman Jeff walked through the project and laid everything out perfectly. I work from home and they worked around my schedule so they would not disrupt any of my meeting. They also took the time to walk me through the project and make sure I understood everything that was happening.

Overall we love our basement remodel. Thankful we signed up when we did. Project estimated start date was 14 weeks out from signing agreement and they started that week. Definitely had to do some calling and making sure things were in place but overall very professional and so glad we went with them. took less than 4 months to complete start to finish. If you call for a quote as for Michele! per professionalism is the reason we went with this company and she stayed in touch start to finish of the project.

It went fine until after the job when I was told by the job boss Troy to call him 3-4 months after the job was done so they would come back out and tighten the 5 plates and comment the cracks in the foundation, I called within 4 months 3 separate times with no response!! Was told by Troy that it would cost $150 to tighten 5 bolts which was not told to me before at any point !

With very short notice, Jeffrey from Basement Guys came out right away and inspected our porch and basement. He was very professional and extremely helpful getting me all information I needed. We have consulted with many different companies for the issues we have but Jeffrey was the only one who knew what was going on and explained everything about the process. He also went extra miles to explain all the other options we have and and thoroughly answered all of my questions. We highly recommend Jeffrey and his company!

Project was successfully completed and on time. The Basement Guys team were professional, courteous and eager to service. Special efforts were made to cover and protect my basement stairs and walls while carrying tools and materials in and out of the house. The Supervisor, Kyle, has in constant communcation with me during the project. At the end of each day, Kyle reviewed the work completed and the planned schedule for the following day. I can highly recommend the Basement Guys.

Kyle and two other gentlemen from Basement Guys of Cleveland did a very professional and satisfactory job in late August 2021. They installed Bright Wall, dug trenches in my basement floor, installed a Sedona dehumidifier along with a sump pump, and otherwise waterproofed my entire basement. I also greatly appreciated that they left my dryer vent better than it was originally and cleaned up after themselves inside and outside. I am very pleased overall with a livable and usable basement in my older home. Thanks much for all your hard work, Kyle and other gentlemen.

Kyle Bunner and his crew were professional and courteous at all times. The work was done well, they kept the dust down as much as possible, especially considering it is such a dirty job. Kyle also explained the process along the way to keep me informed of their progress.

Very pleased. I appreciated the crew and their hardwork as well as the foreman Kyle Bunner. He went over and beyond, was thorough, showed patience and answered all my questions and concerns and was nice. They worked fast, and paid close attention to the areas they worked in. Cleaning after themselves, making sure house was left as they found it, and considerate and respectful to their client. Overall Excellent. The only critique I would give which is a minor one and should not deter from the quality work these guys did was the music they decided to play while they worked. I have no issue with it other than it was a little too loud and disturbing while they worked in our basement. Would recommend headphones or lower volume. Other than that would recommend this company and this crew. Thank you guys!

Got a quote for $17,000 to tear up the outside around the house and put in a drain. Thankfully we got two other quotes. $22,701 to have interior of basement concrete floor torn up and a drain put in, with a sump pump. The last quote from B-Dry System was to call a concrete leveling company and have the patio leveled to stop the water from draining towards the house. $1800 later we have a dry basement.

Kyle, Matt and Mike worked hard and efficiently from start to finish, explained what was to be done and any adjustments that had to be made. Communication within their company seems to be good, they had a detailed work list of what we needed done and it was completed.

Everything went as explained and expected. Baxter was extremely hardworking, polite and knowledgeable. Last day he was here and working alone he did the work of 3 guys and never complained and completed the job to our satisfaction.

The Basement Guys were professional, thorough and efficient from the start of the project through the completion. This basement was a mess, wet and with a history of flooding once or twice a year. Kyle and his team (Matt, Mike, Devon) took over confidendently and expertly dug, placed drains and sealed it up beautifully. A full season will be the real test. Having been part of the whole process as Kyle and I walked through and discussed daily plans in the morning and walked-through and reviewed every evening I feel quite confident it is going to work well!

The job went well. Kyle answered all of my questions and went over what he was going to do before getting started. The job was finished quickly and the area was clean when he left.

Overall Kyle Bunner and his team did an excellent job doing the waterproofing on my basement. He made sure to keep me updated throughout the whole process, and had everything done in a timely manner Great job!
