"Contacted them for an estimate, chose them over two others, not the cheapest by far, but carried a name brand door, double wall and insulated. Initial quote estimated door not to be available for 14-18 weeks, surprised us when they called to tell us door was in after 3. They did work with us as we were making repairs to the garage door area. Installed door by Brandon who did an outstanding job. All is well at this time."

We had cameras and an alarm system installed; it was a relatively large system. They outsource most of the work to various vendors. They could not manage their vendors; what was supposed to take a week took two months. The sales rep did not return calls, and you could never get anyone in management on the phone. Random people would show up at unannounced times. The few things that an actual Guardian employee did were they made a huge mess of our newly remodeled office and were rude to our staff. We have offices in five markets across the US and have high security at each; we have never had such a poor experience."

"We couldn't be happier with the work that Dan Hoehnen and his son Tyler did for us. They suggested the new hardware we needed, acquired most of it for us (we got the new TV ourselves), installed all the stereo stuff, using our existing speakers, which saved us quite a bit of money, wired and mounted one new TV and moved two others around to different locations. They ran into some [not unexpected] networking issues and they worked on them until they figured out how to fix them and stayed until they got them fixed. They also spent quite some time training us on the new Control 4 system and how it can be used to control both music and TV in four different locations in the house. They have also been very responsive to a couple of fairly small difficulties we've run into since the initial installation was completed. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."
