"When I first bought my house in 2018 it was very outdated and needed a lot of flooring done. I went online and all of the reviews for Frederick's were reassuring that they would take good care of it. My services were preformed in late 2018. I'd like to say I had no problems with the installation or service of those who came to my house. They were professional and even admitted when they accidentally broke one of my windows and paid for it. My issues are with the business itself. There were a few mistakes with the vinyl flooring so my husband made a call to the store in 2019 (less than a year after the services.) After a few calls we finally were able to get Nick to come out to fix them. He fixed one mistake but said he didn't have the correct item to fix the other one. He told my husband he would call him the next day or later in the week. We never heard from him again.. I understand he is probably busy running the store so we tried to be understanding and starting calling the store again. We talked to Mickie several times and were told Nick would get back to us. He still has not.. My husband has continued calling and talked to other employees and still nothing. His call logs on his cell phone show he has called over ten times now. It is now 2020 and I've pretty much come to terms with the fact that my floor is not getting repaired.. Several months ago the carpet started bunching and needs to be re-stretched but I'm afraid to try calling back again. It's very upsetting. I would love to say I recommend them because the products themselves turned out lovely, but customer service matters."

"The crew was really friendly and polite, but we had the feeling they completed the service too fast, a little over 2 hours for about 2000 sf. They were not able to remove the stains in the living room, and only when my husband insisted they tried several other cleaning products that didn't work out. The stain was made the day before, when the previous owners were moving out. Then were ready to leave when I asked about the stain in one of the rooms. He said he couldn't get it out. My husband went to Walmart a week later and bought some cleaner and with almost no effort removed the stain from the bedroom and lightened the stain in the living room. It was really disappointing and frustrating to find that stains were left that were easily removed with a common cleaner. Also, when my vacuum arrived and I was able to go clean the carpets again, I found many dead bugs along the baseboards. I get their machines are big, but couldn’t they use a hand piece to vacuum these areas? I sent them a message to let them know about the service it was provided and they kindly offered to come back to clean the areas where stains were left behind. Truth is, if a proper cleaning wasn’t done in my empty house, I really don’t see what they could do now that all our furniture is in place. Never again."

"Ray and his team are miracle workers! Our home is a renovated 40's farmhouse with multiple additions. The basement (especially the "original" portion) had been pretty much untouched for decades before we moved in - we're talking junk, dirt, spider webs, bugs, etc. Ray and his crew did a haul-out of everything still remaining and then a deep clean with pressure washing/sanitizing. They also procured and installed steel shelving for storage and then organized the items we wanted to keep on the shelves. The basement is unrecognizable! We could never have accomplished this much on our own. The team was also prompt, polite, and FAST. I am amazed at what they got done in less than two days! Ray even fixed our broken screen door on his way out!"

"I contracted with Aurora remodeling for my master bath remodel. Tim, Dawn, and team were professional, communicative, and very responsive throughout the process. Dawn helped me make decisions and recommendations that kept me within my target budget, which I very much appreciated. Tim and team were very detail oriented with high standards for quality work... which isn't as easy to find as one would think. It took a little longer than I anticipated to get the work started/finished, but the end product was so worth the wait. I take it as a good sign when a contractor is booked out so far into the future. I was so pleased with the outcome of my bathroom that I've contracted my laundry room with them as well and intend to do the same for my kitchen remodel."

"We were not satisfied. We understood that it would take up to eight weeks for the door to come in. It did and it was installed , but there was a wrong door trim color and that took about a month to come. I had to keep calling the company. We were told that the measurement was not quite level with the concrete, but they would put an extra piece of weather stripping in. That was never done although Al came and said that his job was to make sure that the customers were satisfied and happy. He came and put in a new keyhole that Paul had taken out, which he had not asked whether he should. We needed that key hole in case our car door openers don’t work. So, a new keyhole had to be ordered and that took weeks. And to this day, after several calls to Al, no weather stripping was put down. Paul said he would do it, but it never got done—we were later told that it is not their e responsibility to make it level and touch the cement. So, we have a space between the door and the cement. I did, by mistake, block their calls, but when I realized, I had a call with Brad, the manager, and he said he would send someone out which was Al. I would not recommend this company. I had to keep calling for the things to be done and finished. They promised things they did not do and they took out something they should not have taken out—and there were too many people to deal with. Just glad the door is working. Sorry we went with that company, should have waited for the other company we spoke with."
