"All communication prior to installation was over text, call or email. I had to take some pictures and measurements, but nothing too complicated. When the crew came out they were fixing a window that had been installed by someone who wasn’t qualified and didn’t put it in right. The crew showed up 10 mins early talked to me and my wife about everything that they were going to do and knocked it all out in about 6 hours. Their work was AMAZING!"

"Clancy was always very responsive and very knowledgable! He answered all my questions thoroughly and came to the house several times to make sure I felt comfortable with the process and to check on the finished work. Modern glass blocks are made with materials that can resist high temperatures and prevent fire spread. Most offer a 45-minute fire rating, while some increase it to two hours. Compared to the typical 20 to 90 minute rating for a double-pane window, glass block can increase your home’s safety in the event of a fire.

The gas between window panes, typically argon or krypton, acts as a barrier to heat transfer. If you live in a colder region, consider installing double- or triple-pane windows with low-E coatings, which can trap heat and keep your house warm. In hot areas, windows with reflective coatings and insulated frames help keep cooling costs down. If you experience a lot of extreme weather, then impact-resistant glass might be a worthwhile investment.
