Most outdoor lighting contractors will likely fall into one of two categories: 1. A national franchise or 2. A landscape or lawn sprinkler company. Linger’s Lumberjacks has been servicing the Barberton Norton and surrounding communities for more than 25years. Nelson Linger and the employees of Linger’s Lumberjacks do their best every day to maintain the level of excellence that has made them one of the premiere tree services in the area. When we first started, it was just two brothers with a dream working out of a pickup truck. We started to make a name for ourselves so we added a few capable friends (who are still with us today) and some bigger equipment that could handle the amount of business we were doing and we started to grow. Now we have 10 employees, a fleet of trucks and equipment, and we believe in the saying, “There is no job too big or too small.”

They were also very careful to make sure that the crane was situated on my front yard an did not have to be in neighbors yard or on my driveway. They put mats down and I could barely tell where the crane had been. The only sign was the grass was matted a little. The crew was polite and friendly. There was a small mix up with firewood being cut, but Nelson made it right and more! I also had the stump ground out a week later. He was also wonderful, did a great job and even blew the sawdust off my deck when he was done."

"3 unsupervised teens were sent out. I showed them what I wanted done. Lawn and beds had a small amount of leaves (fall cleanup done prior)that required raking and use of a blower. They spent an hour and 20 minutes walking around with a blower and leaves, pine cones, and 2 plastic bags against the fence. Half the leaves were untouched, and the gate left opened. When I spoke to the manager about the incompleted work, she said I would have to pay for additional hours. The amount of work could have been completed in less time if they had done the work as instructed. I would not recommend this company. These teens should have had an adult to supervise the work."
