With the increasing cost of R22 Freon we knew the time was near and a spring replacement was planned. That was before the blower motor in the furnace started to make a terrible noise and quickly failed, moving up our timeline. We had already done our research and decided on a Trane system. Based on overwhelming positive reviews and a co-worker referral, we decided to call Westin Air for an evaluation and quote. Our experience with Cathy, Westin's sales rep, was very pleasant - a full assessment of our needs and review of our options and no hard sell. The system suggested was the Trane S9V2 furnace with the XL18i air conditioner. Since our A/C was not working, installation was scheduled within a few days. The installation crew was incredible. They put tarps down on the hardwood floor and went above and beyond when it came to being careful. They cleaned up inside and out to the point you would never have known they were at the house. Our experience with Westin Air mirrored all of the positive reviews we read online. The office staff, salesperson and install team were all enjoyable to work with. There was a sense of honesty and integrity in everyone we encountered. There would be no hesitation to recommend Westin Air."

"They could not use the furnace that was advertised, they had to upgrade. Something about a down flow and up flow. The one being offered was either down flow or up flow, I cant remember, and I needed the other one so they had to upgrade it. I spend several hundred dollars more then that. I thought that they were prompt, the guy that came in explained everything in detail to me, showed me how to install the filter. He created it so I could easily install the filter which I couldn't on the other one. He was patient, took his time, and what was required to do a professional job. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself and was good."

I believe all work must be done neatly and to the home/business owner’s standards, no matter what.

"We just purchased this house this past summer.  Even though we have had the HVAC system worked on, nobody took notice of the condition of the Aprilaire.  When my husband turned it on, water ran out of it.  It wasn't an immediate concern so we put it off until nobody could stand the dryness in the house.  I opened the unit up to see if there was a serial number and discovered that most of it appeared to be missing.  I called several places but was impressed with the response of this company.  They came and checked it out. While the one part was on the truck, when the gentleman opened it up he said we had more parts than a filter missing and the unit had cracks in the housing.  The missing part was not normally needed so it had to be ordered.  
The company called me to tell me they had ordered the part (never had anybody tell me that before).  When part came in they called me again to schedule service.  The day before they called to confirm the appointment.  The day of the repair they again called to let me know the repair person would be there in 1/2 an hour and asked if that would be alright.
Instead of replacing the whole unit for $900 I agreed to use tape on the housing.  He assured me the cracks were just cosmetic.  I agreed to that since it sits unnoticed in the basement anyway.

"I submitted a request on Angies List for a quote on my AC unit. I was unsure if a repair or replace was needed. I almost immediately had a call back and a schedule for someone to come take a look. Mike called me before arriving and was very prompt. He was very polite and professional and took time to fully inspect the unit. It turns out a new unit was needed and he went through my options and quoted prices. The pricing is very competitive. A new unit was scheduled for installation the next day. The AC installation was done very professionally. During the install a crack was found in the heat exchanger of the furnace. Again exceptional service was provided from quote to install. Big shot out to Mike Brown, Brock, Haidar, Brian and Dakota. There was another gentlemen with Brock and I can’t remember his name. So sorry!! If you need any work done on HVAC, give Five Star heating and cooling a shot. awesome job guys!"
