"Excellent, we could not be more pleased. We hired Nathan after multiple issues with 2 other service providers (big box stores) to do a kitchen counter replacement. We were impressed with his knowledge, his high service level and his overall consultative advice and expertise. Very fair price and his team were friendly and professional. Nathan worked with us regarding a few challenges we faced with the countertop we chose, he was honest and willing to partner with us. We were most impressed with his patience and help. This was a minor refresh with some issues and he gave us great service despite the fact this was not a major project for him. In a day and age when good contractors are hard to find, Nathan and his team renewed our faith in honestly good workers. Most importantly, he was hand in hand managing his team the day of the installation right in our kitchen. His ownership and confidence were impressive. We really appreciated all the effort and quality work."

They took the time to prepare the space properly and made sure every tile was perfectly aligned and securely placed. The craftsmanship really stands out?the floors look clean, modern, and have completely elevated the appearance of our store. "We hired All Trades General Construction to convert our master tub/shower to a walk in shower with ceramic tile. Bobby talked through the project with us and provided recommendations on materials and design. He was easy to work with, stayed in touch with us and accommodated our requests. The price was fair and far better than estimates we received from other companies. Zach and Mike did a great job and the tile looks amazing. They took care to minimize the mess and cleaned up the project area at the end of each day. The team values work quality as well as customer satisfaction. We are really happy with our new shower and highly recommend All Trades General Construction for the next home project you are considering."

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

There are several different products that allow underwater repair. Pool putty can help repair chips, cracks, and loose tiles without draining your pool, but it should only be used for a temporary fix. Certain two-part epoxy adhesives will cure underwater, too. That said, while it is technically possible to fix pool tiles underwater, it is usually not ideal, depending on the depth of your pool. You will still have to reach the tile, which means you might have to dive and make the repair while submerged.

On average, tiling a bathroom involves about 12 hours of labor, usually spread over two to three days to accommodate prep work and curing times. A professional tiler can often complete the installation in 6 to 8 hours, whereas a DIYer might take 10 to 16 hours. The total project time is influenced by factors like the bathroom layout, tile type, and necessary prep work, such as removing old tile. The process includes specific timelines for different areas; for example, tiling a floor takes about six hours, while a shower area can take six to ten hours. It is essential to allow for adequate curing time—typically 24 hours each—for the mortar, grout, and caulk, which is why the project extends over several days.

Common problems include cracks, loose tiles, and grout discoloration. Proper maintenance prevents many issues.

Phone jack installation can be a complicated project that requires cutting holes into just the right location in the wall and running delicate wiring. This sort of job is best left to the professionals.

Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.
