"Super pleased! A/C broke on a weekend, during a heat wave (yuck!). Brad was able to get the issue diagnosed and fixed the same day I called. My experience with the corporate chain I previously used is they send someone out without a lot of experience who likes at it for a few minutes and then tells me I need a new AC. Brad actually talks to you about how the system is behaving, what the symptoms are, then runs some tests before telling you what’s wrong and how to fix it. Super knowledgeable. Thorough. Reasonably priced."

When it comes to your heating and air conditioning system we understand you have a choice of who to call when you are in need of a service or a new system installation. Whether it's a gas or oil furnace, air conditioner, heat pump, hot water boiler, or geothermal system we have trained professionals that are committed to delivering the comfort and peace of mind you are looking for. We believe in earned respect through honest, open communication and delivering what we promise. Because of that we don't use subcontractors, we don't pass off sub standard furnaces and air conditioners as a premium system, our technicians average 19 years of experience, and we perform a precision tune up and cleaning rather than a system check or inspection. Why? Because we understand our customer’s success drives ours. Call and see why Choice Comfort Services is the top choice for your heating and air conditioning needs. We proudly provide our services to Dayton, Vandalia, Englewood, Tipp City, Troy, New Carlisle, Huber Heights, and the entire Northern Miami Valley in Ohio.

"Choice Comfort Services is my go to provider for HVAC, electrical and plumbing projects. This past fall my wife and I purchased a new home that needed some repairs and updating. Choice Comfort Service techs came through on multiple occasions, even in a time crunch. Some of the projects they did include but not limited to: Re-located a cold air return Replaced chandeliers and lights Installed outlets Replaced exhaust fans and faucets in bathrooms Performed preventative maintenance on furnace Inspected the air condition and discovered a part on the verge of failure. Installed a new cable run In addition, a tech brought to my attention bare electrical wires near flammable insulation in the attic that the whole inspector missed. He also took the initiative to fix. There techs are always courteous and friendly. They take great care in leaving the home as clean as they found it. Overall, the fees are higher than some, but in line with the value of service rendered. And value is what one should consider. Having one company perform all of these services also gives me peace-of-mind that if something should happen to me, my family can rely on them as I have."

"Keith's quote for a 40 gal. water heater (plus pan) was less than the others I called. He came the next day, called ahead, arrived promptly, answered my questions, was professional and polite. I will call him the next time I need a plumber."

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

You may want to remove the gas line if it’s unsightly or if it’s causing a problem with future appliances. The downside is if you decide to go back to gas, you would need to run a new gas line to the area.  The average cost to run a new gas line is $550, but the installation can range anywhere from $120 to $1,350.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Sometimes. While many traditional homes use copper, galvanized steel, PVC, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), and PEX, mobile homes will typically use PVC, CPVC, or PEX. These materials are more flexible, easier to work with, and handle colder temperatures.

No, you shouldn’t leave a gas line uncapped because it can allow gas to escape into your environment, which can lead to fires, explosions, and health hazards. That’s why it’s critical to properly cap and seal any unused gas lines as soon as you can. If you’re not comfortable with that, you can always call a licensed plumber to safely handle it for you.

Plumbers start by walking around the property to see if they notice any signs or sounds of a gas leak. They can also use tools like electronic gas detectors and infrared cameras to find the source of leaks. There are also detectors that use laser, thermal, and multi-wavelength imaging. All these devices allow a plumber to scan your home and pinpoint the exact location of a leak.
