It was really professional with the scheduling and everything. The main chimney sweep and his assistant showed up right on time. They were prepared to work. They came in checked the interior, went up to the roof and checked the exterior. Turned out the chimney was a little more degraded. It's a prefabricated fireplace and is about 40 years old so its due for a repair. They went through the full inspection and everything. About a week later, sent me a quote for a replacement if we wanted to do that. All in all it was a very thorough job.

He arrived when scheduled. He did a very thorough cleaning and inspection, including climbing on my roof to clean and inspect. When finished, he provided a detailed inspection sheet of findings, measurements and any needed repairs. He provides drop cloths and a machine that filtered the air, removing any soot smell. He left the fireplace area as clean as he found it and there was no chimney smell at all. And a very clean fireplace. I have used Eric for my fireplace and my heating gas stove for 3 years. He is very personable, professional, thorough and diligent. He comes as soon as he can, or after hours, for a gas leak. I've lost count of how many times he has been here, always excellent work. And I can't say enough good things about him. I will always have him do any gas work I need, and I strongly recommend him.

Eric has worked on my stove for the last 2 years. I've had parts go bad and a gas leak. His assistant schedules to my convenience and as soon as he has an opening. He covers the floor, front door and stove, and cleans up when finished. And is very personable and professional. I feel he is someone I can count on and he will always be my first call.

Owner and his helper started by putting down large canvas on our carpet to protect it from all the soot. They removed the fireplace insert and cleaned out the chimney, installed the new steel liner, reinstalled the insert and replaced the cap. They carefully removed the canvases and swept off the hearth. Such nice fellows.
