"I would not hesitate for one minute to contact Bluestone Masonry and Restoration to complete a job I need taken care of. I called Josh because he had stated that one of the goals of the company was to get back to the customer as soon as possible. I called the number at 9 o'clock on a Friday night and left a message. He called me back by 9:15. I had called a couple area fireplace businesses. It was November and the first place told me they were retiring at the end of the year. They were not interested in doing the job. The second place told me that they might be able to get to it the second week of January!! Josh told me how to check the thermocouple and he texted me the next morning to see how the test went and offered to come and check the fireplace out later that day. If the problem would have been anything other than the thermocouple my call would have been to Josh and I know the job would have been completed quickly and correctly."

"We needed repairs and updates in all but one room of our main floor.  When Chris Means came to give us an estimate, he was polite and took the time to measure and ask questions.  Throughout the process, he was quick to communicate and involved in making sure that the job was done to our satisfaction.  It seemed important to all of the workers that we were satisfied with the work.  We were asked repeatedly to check everything out and make a list of anything that needed attention.  The problems that we pointed out were minor and were addressed with a great attitude.  At the end of each work day, everything was cleaned up and only with my permission were tools, etc., left in the garage or house.  The project was done in December, and we were expecting a good bit of company for Christmas.  During the week before Christmas, we asked that the living room be finished a bit earlier than they had scheduled, and Chris sent a crew over to work an extra afternoon.  I was thrilled that they cleaned up the room and put the furniture back so we could hang curtains and put up our Christmas tree that evening.  The company tries to be out of a house by 5 p.m., and, while they usually finished by 3:30, the stayed until about 6:30 on the last two days prior to Christmas so we could have the house presentable for our family.  All of the guys were polite and considerate, and I had no misgivings about leaving them in the house working when we were not home.  In fact, we had to be away overnight during the job, and we gave them a key so they could continue to work while we were gone. 
Anyone who is having walls patched, repaired, and painted should be aware that the sanding will leave everything covered in a fine white dust.  By All Means and More worked to clean that up, including wiping the floors on hands and knees.  The plastic they covered furniture and surfaces with helped, but in order to have our home ready for the Holidays, we did still do a good bit of cleaning. 
Overall, we are very pleased with the work done and found the crew to be professional and polite.  We would call them again."

"We have an older home that fell into disrepair.  Machen Brothers Home Improvement agreed to paint it part of it and to replace the rotten wood on it for what we felt was a very good price.  They were reliable about getting work done in a timely manner.  The boss and crew seemed pleasant and professional.  The work they did has made a big improvement in the appearance of our house.  The wood work they did seems excellent.  When the project was almost finished, they suggested that we have our old deck replaced because it was getting wobbly.  The company also did this for a very good price.  We would definitely recommend their services."
