"We called several large dealers because we recognized their name and also came across DogSafe. Matt was very responsive to our request for a quote. He actually had our pet fence installed before the other companies returned our call. Installation and training went well. I've already recommended DogSafe to others I know because of the quality service, communication and responsiveness."

"They did a terrific job! 2 raccoons and one opossum were caught and removed. Critter Inspector also recommended and installed a barrier around the perimeter of our deck to prevent further animals from taking up residence. The Critter Inspector team members were polite, professional and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone needing the removal of nuisance animals."

"Fenced in the back yard, 250 linear feet, 4 foot fence with 2 gates. Excellent job, completed in a little more than 2 days and this included removing the old fencing. These guys went above what was necessary by fixing holes in the neighbors fence to prevent their dogs from getting out (no charge) , removed bags of debris from the prior clean up I did - no charge, and were prompt, courteous and professional."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Raccoons should be removed in most cases, especially when they’ve made their way indoors. Even if they seem harmless, raccoons are wild animals that can damage your property and potentially harm you, your family, and your pets. As soon as you notice signs of raccoons on your property, address the situation by securing your garbage and consulting a pro.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels.

Since they are cold-blooded, snakes find cool toilet bowls attractive, especially during hot weather. Or they may be seeking to escape the plumbing and find a spot in your home where they can warm up on a cold night. Snakes may also be looking for food.

Squirrels are pretty skittish creatures, and they dread the presence of rodent-chasing dogs and cats. Sudden noises and bursts of activity can send them scampering away. Anything with an element of surprise, like motion-detecting lighting, strobe lights, and noisy wind chimes, can unsettle them. Even loud radios and voices can be perceived as threatening and terrifying to these furry critters.

Attempting to squish a scorpion by hand or foot isn’t a good idea, as many can flatten themselves and survive a simple strike—plus, they’ll be provoked and very likely to sting. Instead, it's best to use a sharp or heavy object to pierce or crush the exoskeleton with force. Always wear protective clothing, including thick gloves, pants, and closed-toe shoes, to avoid being stung. Use long tweezers, scissors, or a knife to pierce the exoskeleton or crush it with a heavy object, making sure to twist or press down firmly to ensure the scorpion is truly dead.
