"Bruce Mantz and his landscaping service have taken care of our lawn for more than 10 years.  Bruce works directly with us to understand our lawn care requests and to provide us with fast, efficient service.  We trust him and know that he will work hard to satisfy our needs. [We do not putter in the yard, so, before Bruce started managing the landscaping, we practiced benign neglect of our lawn and greenery.  The yard needed the kind of care that Mantz Landscaping routinely provides.]

"We couldn't be happier with the finished product. From scraping and sanding, to the care they took in repairing and sealing our home’s very old woodwork, to the finished paint job we were very impressed with their craftsmanship and professionalism. They exceeded our expectations in every way and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to my friends and neighbors."

"Mr. Woody and his son did exactly as requested.  After an initial estimate from several contractors, Mr. Woody's estimate was very fair and reasonable for what was requested.  We wanted our natural stone walkway made safe and secure by taking out loose grout and putting in new grout and securing any loose stones and in the garden wall too.
He came out as promised and he and his son did an execellent job from start to finish.  Clean up was very professional. We would and will use his services again."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.
