"Very pleased with the process and results. Jose and his team went beyond expectations, arranged carpenter service, paid attention to all details and worked fast with no disruptions. There are many plants around the house, and we were worried about damage, but to our surprise they have been well looked after! Especially impressive was the extra step taken to prepare the deck. Jose hired at his own expense a professional with orbital sander to completely strip down the old paint to ensure the job is done right."

"Great! He adjusts his cutting schedule to the weather. He tries to cut it on Thurs. or Fri., which I requested so my lawn looks nice on the weekends. I'm very happy with the service."

"Exemplary service at an excellent price! Chris responded the same day to my request for an estimate, I had it in-hand within 3 days and scheduled to my advantage within a week. Chris personally came by to introduce his team on the first day, and checked back often during the process to confirm that I was happy with everything. The crew were all polite and most professional and did a great job! Ron was extremely helpful, and went out of his way to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend this company!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.

The cost of sandblasting depends on the scope of the project, the surface type, labor, and equipment required. Services typically cost between $50 and $80 per hour, though most professionals charge by surface area at a rate of $1.50 to $7 per square foot. Total project costs can range from $700 to $12,500, with an average homeowner spending around $3,200 to sandblast a 1,000-square-foot surface.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.
