"sales practices are deceptive. My sales rep came to the house and evaluated my roof. I had no illusions that my roof was in good shape. It needed to be replaced. Victors touts themselves as roof specialists and will give an “honest” evaluation of your roof. I am sure you have seen the commercials. My rep went into the crawl space, on the roof, and presented photos of the roof. The cost was high, and my wife and I said no to the original offer but when they came down in price by $6,000.00, we agreed to the contract. This is where they got us. The price included three sheets of wood but any wood on top of that would be $85.00 per sheet. I asked our rep if he thought all of the wood on our roof would need replacing, and he said no. He said one side of our roof needed replacing but the other side of the roof was good and did not need replacing. But I knew that they would have to replace the wood on part of my roof. I knew this because other companies told us the same thing. Fast forward to the installation. The foreman showed me one board to be replaced and said others would need replacing as well. I told him that I knew some boards would need replacing. When we got to the end of the installation, they informed me that they had replaced all of the wood. Seventy-Three sheets. I was never under the impression that all the wood would need to be replaced. I requested photographs of my roof to justify all of the wood being replaced. They sent photos and only one photo showed one piece of wood with mold. I informed them that I felt scammed. I was told they reviewed the photos and stood by their decision and apologized that the rep did not set the expectation. I brought to their attention that they evaluated that all of my wood needed replacing from photographs but their roof specialist who was in my crawl space, on top of my roof, and told me all the wood did not need replacing could not tell me that all the wood needed replacing. I am now responsible for you guessed it $6,000.00 in wood replacement. Convenient? Suspicious? Yeah. They are shady. I am sure it is also a pure coincidence that after I put down my deposit the balance is almost the exact amount we qualified for in financing plus $700.00. So, beware of Victors. Good product but you will pay for it, and they will deceive you out of every penny you qualify for."

We are a local Akron based window cleaning company. We currently have 3 employees including an owner operator. We accept Visa and MasterCard as well as cash and check. We offer monthly discounts to all our services.
"Long story short. The young man that cleaned my exterior window was on time and courteous. The windows he cleaned were done well. However, He broke one of my windows while cleaning - the window fell into the room and the interior pane was shattered. He assured me he had spoken with the office and they would take care of the repair. I spoke with the office and they also assured me this would be taken care of - They sent a glass repair man to the house he provided a quote upon hearing the price of the repair I was told by the receptionist that they would be sending another company out for a price comparison. Since then I have not heard from anyone in the company. I have left several messages and never receive a return call. I called the glass repair man and he contacted Streak Free windows. The informed him they would NOT be assuming responsibility for making the repair. This is really sad considering they told the young man at the time of the incident that this would be taken care of and not to worry. Unfortunately, I paid for the service when it was rendered in good faith that it would be repaired as I was told."

Haralson Roofing is a family run company since 1971, we do not subcontract our roofing work, registered with all in summit county cities to pull necessary permits, free estimates, if you get our name through Angie's list discount: $250 for complete roof. Only one discount per estimate.
"The owner's son came to our home to do the estimate. He was happy to listen to my concerns with our existing roof and garage addition. A couple days later, we received the estimate via email. The estimate for roof tear-off and replacement was marginally higher than the other estimates we had received but Haralson's workmanship warranty was much longer. In addition, they agreed to do our demolition for about $1200 more. After signing the contract, a couple weeks passed. We got a call asking if we'd be available for the job following day. Fortunately, that did work for us and the crew arrived the following morning, as scheduled. Shortly after, a dumpster was delivered by a different company. They did some tear off work and put down the underlayment before it started raining, then came back a couple hours later and worked for an hour before it started raining again. They returned the following day and finished the job. In addition to a nicely installed roof, the domolition part of the project turned out well. The crew did some repairs to rotted wood on the inside and added some lumber to help cover up the newly opened side of the garage. We were told they don't usually do demolition, but it was a relatively straightforward project. The people in the crew were polite and professional, and we are happy with the finished project. Haralson's accepts credit card payments, which is a selling point for us. However, there is a processing fee so we decided to go with a check payment this time. Everything went smoothly. We would definitely use Haralson again."
