"We hired James from Your Crpenter to repair damages done from a tree falling on our house. He came to look at damages and we gave him a down payment check for $4000.00. He was to start work that week. I had to take time off of work due to having 2 dogs. James was a no call/no show. Kept coming up with excuses. The 5th time, we decided to just ask for our money back and we will hire someone else. That was June 5th 2022. We still do not have our money back even though they claim they will give it back. Then I called the city and it turns out they didnt even get a building work permit, so they never intended to start the work. I filed with the BBB, but sadly there is nothing they can really do. I am about to file with small claims court. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!!"
