Mr. Ready is highly creative and experienced and it is clear he enjoys his trade. He is professional, and prompt in returning calls or emails, as well as being on time or even five to ten minutes early when showing up for appointment and work. He said he could "frame our backyard" by updating the trim around our large living room windows and that is what he did. He kept to his schedule of what would occur each day in order to get the job completed. He cleans up after himself. His work exceeded our expectations.

We received 3 quotes. 2 from staircase companies plus Ken's. His quote was by far the lowest. He had done similar projects, but none exactly like ours. The project was a little more detailed than he first thought and was supposed to take about a week, but instead took two weeks. He probably under-quoted, but never asked for more money or tried to make it up somewhere else. The wood work was beautifully done, transforming an ugly 1970's curved staircase with carpet and wrought iron rail with wood rail, balusters and treads.
