They worked quickly to plaster the entire room, which is approximately 300 square feet, over two days. The second day, Darryl's son noticed we had some cracks in the caulking on the outside of our basement windows. They fixed the caulking without any charge to us. They also removed broken wood surrounding the windows and smoothed the plaster over the edges so that it looks better than ever. They also made a wooden surround for our fireplace, again without any extra charge. When they were finished, they cleaned up thoroughly and put the room back together, then hosed down the back deck where they had been entering and leaving. All in all a terrific experience. My husband came home at lunchtime on the second day to look at the work and thank them. He was impressed (and he's not easy to impress!) The team is coming back on Sunday after the mortar dries to apply Drylok so that we don't have to worry about any more leaks

"Excellent work from start to finish. My father was a mason, so I know great work when I see it. First, they brought in a tear-down team to remove the chimney down to the first-floor roof level of our two-story house. After which, they rebuilt the chimney to original height installing approximately 900 new bricks using a new Type N mortar. They installed a new 5" thick concrete crown with a 2" drip edge and an expansion joint. They replaced all accessible sections of fireplace clay flue tile extending 4" - 6" above the concrete crown. Installed new stainless steel chimney cap. Installed 2 sets of new step and counter flashing. Installed 2 sets of new ice water shields and shingles as needed. Cleaned and weather sealed chimney entirely upon completion. After the chimney rebuild was done, the Mason, Seth, and his crew cleaned the work site, to include the whole driveway. They are a very efficient and thorough team. I understand that they like to leave the customer's house and yard as clean or better than they find it.
