"Dave and his crew at Greenbush Professional Services did an exceptional job removing 7 trees and their stumps for me this past fall. Let me repeat exceptional. Yes they were the most expensive. However, they took the time to lay a road of composite material to minimize damage to the yard, cut down large trees next to the home and fence w/o damage, and removed the stumps thoroughly. That later step is what many companies fail to accomplish – which makes it difficult to grow grass afterwards. Once the tree work was done, he and his crew spread top soil and laid sod. Overall the yard looks good – but time will if/how much settling will occur. If you need trees removed and want it done right in a timely manner – give Dave a call."

"The pro has been servicing our Mclean property quite well for a couple of years. Our lawn looks good and we are satisfied with the service. The customer service is sometimes underwhelming but it gets the job done at a reasonable cost which is really becoming harder by the day to get."

"Not good. Torched grass before a holiday weekend. Told me it wasn't that bad and would recover. Second (and last) time they have done this. Seem to have a "customer is never right" policy. High prices and poor service are a bad combo."

"We needed to connect our patio to our deck stairs and lower concrete patio. We also had a steep slope we needed a stair-type solution to. Jake came out and went over the details with us. We decided to replace the current square concrete block patio under the pergola with a round paver patio that connected everything. Jake also recommended a large natural stone block stair to deal with the slope. After getting the estimate we were pleased and went ahead and paid the half up-front to get it on the books. They were able to start only a couple months later and spent a good week working on the project. The old patio was torn down and the blocks carefully stacked. Yard damage was minimized and a very nice patio and path was built. The initial stairs connecting to the concrete patio wasn't exactly what we wanted, and Jake had it rebuilt with no complaints and no additional cost. We are extremely pleased with how everything turned-out, and would definitely recommend them."

"Earlier this year, we hired The Site Group to perform a project in our backyard. It was comprised of the destruction of an existing walkway and patio and the construction of new walkways, a larger patio with fire pit and a pavilion. Dave came up with an awesome design that blended with the architecture of the home while providing new spaces for mulch beds where we have been able to create multiple gardens. "Our yard looks worse now than it did. Consistent bare spots dead gass and weeds. I have asked that some come out to speak directly with me about what I'm seeing so that we could correct it but they always send someone when I'm not here. Even after ask for a call before they arrive. I began seeing on my treatment statement that they "could not access the back yard". I do have a trailer on the side of the house but, I can get a mower past it. Even if their machine won't fit, I thought most companies would use a hand spreader. With that being said, I was always charged full price for half the work and product. The last application all this occurred. I called to tell them about the weeds and that I needed a spot treatment and after the treatment I wanted to cancel. I was then literally laughed at by Rebecca the call taker. Mind you the retreat is supposed to be part of the paid service. I then asked for her name, she said have a good day and hung up."

"Be cautious about hiring Steve and Angie unless you have time and energy to watch over every detail of the work. Their attention to detail and follow up is lacking. Initial contact and design was great, and we LOVE the look we ended up with. The crew who came to do the work, worked hard. BUT - Not all the existing plant material was removed and came up in the spring and I had to dig it up; The area was not leveled well; The stepping stones were not installed level and now I am going to have to fix it. I did start contacting them weeks after the job, and now 7 months after the completion a crew returned, but left not completing the job. I cannot recommend Greentree Specialists - though again i like the owners, and the look we ended up with is lovely. For the money, I expected a more detail and finished product."
