"We had a water emergency at 4 a.m. which resulted in the flooding of our utility room in the lower level of our house. This company responded to my call within an hour(we had horrible snowy conditions and it was 4a.m.)! The technicians were very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. They explained exactly what they would do and they were very reassuring as I was very frazzled. They gave me an estimate and they also answered questions I had about homeowners insurance policy claims. They got right to work and had everything cleaned and sanitized in a couple of hours. They were very respectful of our newer hardwood floors and our house in general and they cleaned everything up when they left.
When they returned to pick up their equipment(blowers and de-humidifier)they were punctual and fast.
Excellent company and wonderful technicians, I would recommend them to everyone and there is no other company I would call with a water restoration problem."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.

Concrete coatings protect surfaces from wear, physical damage, abrasion, stains, spills, moisture, and weather. This protection extends the life of the concrete, adds durability, and can also improve aesthetics and safety.

Yes, it is possible to apply a concrete coating yourself, especially for smaller applications if you have the proper equipment. However, for larger projects, a professional application is recommended to ensure durability, slip resistance, and proper adhesion.

Whether it's better to stain or paint concrete depends on your budget, desired aesthetic, and DIY skill level. Generally, staining is a more durable option because the stain soaks into the concrete's surface and won't wear away like a topical paint coating. Painting concrete can trap moisture underneath the paint layer, which may cause the concrete to deteriorate over time. However, concrete paint offers a wider variety of colors, is typically easier and less expensive to apply, and is effective at covering up existing stains or blemishes on the surface.

Costs depend on floor size, finish type, and additional features like in-floor heating.
