"Everything turned out beautifully. They were extremely responsive and accommodating, they worked quickly to perfect the entertainment center. Don is a very nice person and is very good to work with. He has a designer's taste and knows what looks good and what does not. He is good with color and design and does wonderful work. The prices are not cheap, but the quality of the work was worth the cost. He is extremely punctual and is sometimes even early. He is very good about calling if he will be late. I will absolutely plan to use him again in the future. If I can afford it, I will happily invite him back for more projects, and I would not trust anyone else to do the work."

"I am always pleased with these guys. I have hired them many times in 3 different condos over the course of 15 years. I just call them whenever I need painting or wallpapering. I moved temporarily to India, when I get back, I will hire them again."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.
