S&S Enterprise Property Preservation is an Experienced Home Improvement company able to produce Quality and Affordable work in a timely manner. Currently covering north central ohio and expanding quickly.

"They came a day early, which was fine. The employees were not wearing face coverings, but I did not challenge it. They cleaned 4 fireplaces in my home, which took about 15 minutes each. I asked them to look at some outside fire pits, which they did, and I asked them about the possibility of adding a gas heater to my solarium. The employees were excellent, but asked for $540.00 in charges. This was extreme, in my opinion, since they only spent 1 1/2 hours total. I called the company the next day and was given the run around. They eventually referred me to the owner, who never called back. I expected a reduced charge, since I only paid around $200.00 the last time of service. They could not explain their charge plan satisfactorily. I feel that they were price gouging, since their is little competition in their field. I will not be using their services in the future."

I started this company after working for other company's in Ohio. I didn't like the way they did things. I was told one day to go somewhere else. but I did one better. My customers will tell you. I'm fair and good on my word. Thank you, and God bless.

"Pro Sweep Chimney was amazing! I had been having problems with moisture around the chimney on the second floor of our German Village house. Dennis came out within about 1 week from my call and assessed that some things had not been done properly in rebuilding the chimney, which prevented the exhaust from the furnace and water heater from actually venting out of the chimney, plus we needed a flue liner. He took the extra time and work to remove all the obstructions and install the flue liner and cap we desperately needed. He was on time, fair on price, explained everything he uncovered, knowledgeable and comfortable working with our 120 year old home and was generally great to work with! Highly recommend!"

Our business employs an experienced masonry team of four. We only hire sub-contractor for commercial work, and we work with them side by side. Full payment is always due upon the completion of the job. In some cases the owner or contractor will be responsible for purchasing the material for the task, which, in most cases, can be paid over the phone to the companies selling the material.

"We hired Integrity Masonry to tear down and rebuild the top part of our chimney. Arnold was easy to communicate with, offered a fair price, and did great work. Would highly recommend."

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

No, asphalt shingles should not be power washed. A power washer or pressure washer is too strong to use on asphalt shingles and will loosen the adhesive holding them to your roof, causing them to fall off. It’s best to hire a local roof cleaner to clean those shingles safely and without damaging them.

Clean the outside of your home at least once a year. If you live in an area with salty sea air, high levels of pollen, or an abundance of leaves in the fall, it's helpful to wash it at least two times a year. Frequent cleanings will allow you to remove debris and pests before they flourish into infestations, or cause mold and mildew.

The best time of year for roof cleaning depends on the climate in your area, but in most cases late spring or early summer are the best times. You should plan to clean your roof when it’s dry and not too hot or cold. It’s also a good idea to clean your roof in the late autumn to remove any built-up debris like leaves or branches. On the other hand, you shouldn’t clean your roof when it’s too cold, because you can cause ice buildup.

For the best chemicals to clean a metal roof, stick to gentle detergents such as dish soap, laundry detergent, or car-wash soap mixed in a diluted solution of ¼ cup of soap to 1 gallon of water. These mild cleansers are safe for most roof finishes but are still strong enough to remove remaining dirt particles. Chemicals like bleach or acids can damage your roof, poison landscaping and grass, and pose a hazard to you and your family. If your roof is very dirty or you think it requires chemical cleaning, call a roof cleaning professional.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.
