"Needed a waterproofing company to waterproof my damaged basement, excellent workmanship, exceeded my expectation. The workers were very polite and knowledgeable. Completed the job in one day. Removed concrete flooring, install indoor water gutters, drilled several weep holes, removed old sump basin and sump pumps, installed new equipment, they also install a rubber barrier to guide water to the gutters and placed new concrete where needed. They removed all debris, the basement looked cleaner than before they started. I was impressed with the quality and value of Ohio Basement Authorities service. I would highly recommend this company. Good price and excellent service."

"I needed to replace my front brick steps from Brick to Concrete. We have been running into loose bricks, pretty much after each winter, to the extent that I was concerned about safety of visitors (my brother-in-law fell on a loose brick). Chris and crew showed up on time (like 1 min early!). And they did a great job taking all the bricks out and pouring concrete instead to give us a peace of mind and a good looking concrete steps. Throughout the process, Chris explained to me what is going on in detail and answered all my questions. I probably asked him the same question a few times and he patiently answered my questions. Chris is a master mason with specialty in concrete. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is humorous, generous and a gentleman. Chris (personally) spent a lot of time power washing other areas of my pavers even though that was not part of the deal. I offered to pay him for it but he refused and said "I just want the place to look gorgeous when I leave. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete / cement work."

"It was an all day job, but the results were excellent. Adam and Steve, the repairmen, are very profession and know exactly what to do without causing cracking as the concrete patio is raised."

"Tim and his father did a great job replacing a couple squares of sidewalk at our home that were done improperly by a different contractor. They got me an estimate and fit me in their schedule quickly, all while doing the work the right way at a fair cost. I would definitely ask them to do additional work in the future and recommend them if you need concrete or masonry work as well. They are also licensed in Columbus and insured. Before hiring any vendor to do work at your home, I highly recommend you verify both of those things. I came across a number of other concrete vendors who did not have either or both of those documents and some were less than forthcoming about it."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Professionals in Delaware often use a modular, sectional approach to concrete leveling, which allows for future property additions common in the area's expanding suburbs. This forward-thinking process includes planning around underground utilities for future service needs and performing deep soil analysis to account for varied local compositions. This ensures the current work supports your property’s long-term plans.

Helpful?

For homes in Delaware, concrete leveling needs change with age. Newer homes may only require minor adjustments for initial settling. Properties between 15 and 30 years old often need their first major leveling as the original backfill settles. Homes over 30 years old frequently require more comprehensive, multi-area approaches that are sometimes integrated with other foundation repairs.

Helpful?

A small concrete leveling issue in Delaware can escalate if you notice hairline cracks that appear after winter, as Ohio’s freeze-thaw cycles rapidly expand them. Other warnings include minor water infiltration during wet springs, which can create foundation issues, or small settlements near mature trees. Misaligned doors and windows are also early structural signs that a bigger problem is developing.

Helpful?

In Delaware, OH, signs that previous concrete leveling has failed include recurring sinking or settling, which can happen within a few years due to clay-rich soils and freeze-thaw cycles. Also, watch for new cracks appearing on repaired slabs, water pooling where drainage was fixed, or visible gaps developing between the concrete and the underlying leveling material, which can wash out during heavy rains.

Helpful?

During a concrete leveling project in Delaware, you may encounter unexpected needs that affect the scope of work. These can include discovering unmarked utility lines that require relocation or finding poor soil conditions, like rock layers or springs, that need special attention. Additional work for drainage improvements or tree root removal is also common in established neighborhoods to ensure a lasting repair.
