Best basement remodelers near Concord, OH

"We did the demo on our old two-tiered decking. Betterliving built a new upper deck from composite with aluminum railing. The lower deck was replaced with as 12X15 sunroom. The process from start to finish was a pleasure. All employees were friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and prompt. Price was better than anticipated, so we went with a 4-season sunroom instead of a 3-season. The worksite was safe, clean and orderly, and the quality of the build was excellent. They worked through some miserable cold weather too. Deck – Betterliving’s construction quality was a major improvement to what we previously had. Their suggestion to use two colors on the railing worked out great too - spindles are a different color that the rest of the railing. Sunroom - also very solid construction. It is insulated well, and also helps even out the temps in the family room it is attached to. The gable style not only looks nice, but makes the sun room look bigger. They built a small landing off of the sunroom entryway too. It is important to note that they installed the flooring and contracted the electrical. Flooring and electrical work were included as part of our quote with them. Not all of our quotes from other businesses included flooring and electrical work, and would have been an additional cost. Having everything included in the quote also meant we had one project, not several projects. Deck/sunroom/landing materials – decking and landing materials were the same composite materials. The sunroom skirting was also the same composite. This ties everything together visually, and improves the overall look. Electrical work – Knorr Electric completed all the electrical in the sunroom (interior and exterior outlets, exterior floodlight, and hung a ceiling fan). They also replaced all of our outside lighting on the entire house while they were here, and moved a bathroom light inside. They were also friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and prompt. And quality work from them too. We will definitely contact Betterliving and Knorr again for any additional work we want done. They are highly recommended! Note that Betterliving in the Erie, PA area is connected to DBC Remodeling and Construction (same employees). DBC came highly recommended to us from a friend."

"Very professional, polite and honest. Did a great job and we love our floor!!"

"Shawn did a wonderful job remodeling both of my bathrooms. They were total remodels, including new cabinets, toilets, shower, bath tub, paint, base boards, etc. Shawn was on time every day, always kept me informed about how things were going, and is a perfectionist. The new bath rooms are perfect, and everyone who comes over remarks at how great they turned out. I would recommend Shawn to do any remodel project you need done. He is a great guy, honest, and very easy to work with. Thanks Shawn!"

"Mike did an amazing job with my basement remodel. From drawing up the plans, being very knowledgeable in all areas, clean up and professionalism, I knew I went with the right company. From studs, to drywall, to ceiling to finishing touches, I am amazed how awesome my basement looks. I would recommend Mike for all projects and already have him scheduled for 1 of my bathrooms."

"We’ve been remodeling our house for quite awhile now and to say John was the most genuine and professional contractor that we’ve worked with so far is an understatement. John treated us like family and went way beyond what we contracted him to do! Not only did they do an outstanding job with our basement remodel but he was patient and professional with a little bit of drama that we had during construction when it came to other contractors that he had to work around. I would definitely refer John to anybody who need remodeling done and will definitely use Desborough construction for ALL our next projects!"

"BEST CONTRACTOR EVER! The project included an exterior ramp, 1st fl laundry & 1/2 bath near the kitchen. I needed the ramp done 1st for an elderly person being released from physical rehab in under a wk. He worked very hard through the worst days of the smoke from the Canada forest fires. He understood ADA requirements and built accordingly. Plus, he suggested things I hadn't thought of like widening the mudroom doorway for a wheel chair if needed in the future & raising the mudroom floor just a little to keep it level with the kitchen floor. The ramp is very sturdy. The senior is using it with great confidence. The interior revamp went very well & was just what our senior needed. Not only did he have the project done in a timely manner, but while walking through Lowes he noticed a stackable washer & dryer 20% off, unopened box. He texted me & we grabbed it! Dave not only knows the construction business but goes above & beyond what's needed and he has a good heart."
