"The project was extended beyond the estimated completion of the project. However, there were also some unforeseeable delays in materials needed. Other than timing, I found the crew very knowledgeable with a rather high skill set in the work they performed. Their prices were extremely fair and reasonable. They were also accommodating to my needs/concerns. I don't think I can feel anymore satisfied with the completed work! Stellar work, very organized, and tidy. Mr. Bankhead also provided invaluable input on decor designs/structures/etc. which helped to bring my vision into fruition. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

It’s possible to remove a new construction recessed light without getting into your attic, though it’s a bigger job. You’ll need to identify the joist locations using a stud finder, then cut a square hole in the drywall of your ceiling to remove the fasteners holding the fixture. After removing the light, you’ll have to patch and paint the ceiling again.

Under-cabinet lighting is generally energy-efficient, especially when using LED technology. Compared to traditional ceiling lighting or older bulb types like halogen and incandescent, LED under-cabinet lights consume significantly less energy, which helps reduce operating costs. This applies to various forms, including strip lights, puck lights, and built-in fixtures. For an option that uses no electricity, consider battery-operated puck lights. While they require periodic battery replacements, they have the added advantage of functioning during a power outage.

No, there aren’t additional code requirements for kitchen lights. Kitchen lights and other electrical circuits in the kitchen have different code requirements. Outlets need to be particularly robust because of their frequency of use and proximity to liquids. If you need help determining where to install outlets in your kitchen, consult a local electrician who can ensure that placement is functional and up to code.

Projection spotlights offer an alternative (or addition) to Christmas lights. You simply plug in the projection and aim it at the side of your house or garage and watch the lightshow happen.

Motion-sensor lights use one watt while on standby and five watts while turned on. They’re usually on for one hour over a 24-hour period, bringing the total wattage to about 28 watts per day. LED lights use around 6.5 to 8 watts while on. If you leave an LED light on all night, with night ranging from 10 to 14 hours, you’re looking at using 65 to 112 watts a night. You can minimally cut your wattage in half by switching to a motion-sensor light.
