"Really nice and serviced same day as quote. Even took the time show us how the electrical wiring was set up in our older home so we know how to handle the issue ourselves the next time we want to change out light/fan fixtures. Not many companies would be willing to do that anymore!"
A win for the owners of this panel change.
Ready to label and get inspected
This is guaranteed to provide adequate electric needed to provide heating and cooling on demand.
Panels are installed and look great.
Without yearly inspections of your electrical services in your home this could happen to you. This is the panel that failed and we upgraded.

"His team showed up on time, and the first thing they had to deal with was the defect to the foyer light.  They adapted and began work on that.  The rest of the team started working on the ceiling fans and wiring.  Another part of the team went to work on preparing the den ceiling for the can lights.

Scott called me when he was out getting supplies, and I asked him to pick up LED light bulbs for the foyer light.  The box says they last 23 years, so I will never have to change them.

The team worked fast, clean, and polite.  My kids came home from school, and watched the team work.  The team engaged them in casual, appropriate conversation.

They finished all the work in about 4 hours.  I paid exactly what I thought I would pay.  At the end, Scott offered one my kids $20 in cash to help clean up after his team (some scrap wiring and drywall to sweep up).  My kid did the work, but Scott and his team left without paying.  An hour later, when he should have been home with his family, Scott showed up at my door and gave my kid the $20, and apologized for forgetting.

That's integrity.  Scott will get our business again."

"Very knowledgeable and well spoken on communicating in person about the work that needed to perform. I didnâ t know exactly what or where I wanted a few outlet, lights, and a couple fans. He gave me different options and ideas that we could do. Highly recommend Kraus Electrical Services!"

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Whether you can install a ceiling fan yourself depends on if you're replacing an existing fixture or installing one where no wiring exists. If you are replacing an existing fan, an experienced DIYer may be able to do the job, which can save on labor costs. This work typically doesn’t require a permit, but there’s always a safety risk when dealing with electrical components, so hiring a pro is still a good idea, especially if you aren't handy. Keep in mind you may need a special ladder for high or vaulted ceilings. However, if you are installing a new ceiling fan where there is no current fixture, you must hire a licensed electrician. In most areas, it is required by law that a professional runs new wiring and pulls the necessary permits. Attempting to install wiring yourself can be dangerous and a code violation.

Stainless steel or aluminum fans are long-lasting and have less air resistance. They are best for outdoor use as their durability helps them withstand unpleasant weather conditions. Their heavy weight requires a stronger motor, which leads to more noise than other blade materials.

Wooden fan blades are a classic, durable option. They are much quieter than metal fans and feature a wide range of styles and finishes to choose from. However, they can be damaged by moisture if not covered with plastic.

Plastic fan blades are lightweight, easy to clean, and versatile. There are various shapes and styles to choose from as plastic is easily molded and dyed. They will also deteriorate slower than other materials as they aren’t as susceptible to humidity and moisture.

There are many types of ceiling fans available, each designed for different spaces and needs. Standard ceiling fans are the most common type and work well in most rooms. Low-profile ceiling fans are better suited for rooms with low ceilings. Smart ceiling fans can be controlled with a smartphone or voice commands. For larger spaces with ceilings between 10 and 25 feet high, large ceiling fans are ideal. Dual-motor fans have two motors to produce more airflow in multiple directions. You can also find energy-efficient or Energy-Star models that can be up to 60% more efficient, as well as fans with built-in lights or retractable blades.

Coffered ceilings often come with additional embellishments and accessories, including tin panels, medallions, trim, molding, recessed lights, and finials. Whether you’re looking for a simple grid pattern or want an elaborate, decorative ceiling with all the bells and whistles, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Identifying the source of noises is your first step to soundproofing a room without overspending. Generally, sound comes from inside or outside of the house. Inside noises include creaking floors, living noises like TVs in the living room, cooking sounds, or kids being kids. External noises generally include incremental weather, disturbing neighbors, and street traffic. Inside noises require you to soundproof floors, ceilings, and doors, whereas outside noises may require you to soundproof your attic, windows, and walls facing the streets.
