Hello Angie's member! Let's put your membership to good use. I'm Nathaniel, owner of NET Building/Remodeling. Existing and new clients have been "suggesting" I get on board with the "List" since last year. Well, a few things as you will see, we cover a very broad span of work. 1. A picture portfolio of past work has been started for your convience to view at: Facebook NET Building/Remodeling - see Photos. 2. I haven't been referred to you so here we are, "Angie's," call me, let's get an appointment set up. I do prefer for our first appointment both husband & wife be present. I'll work around your schedule. Depending on the project, I like to talk to both parties so I can get a good feel of what you're looking to have done. This helps estimate the job correctly and put some clarity on your scope of work and what you want to see for a finished product. 3. Complete estimate for your project will be mailed, emailed, faxed or dropped off. I don't do "foot in the door estimates;" these are under or improper low bids that seem acceptable in which it is inevitatable the client will encounter additional expenses. 4. Your home is your "CASTLE." a. Additional refrences can be provided at your request for character and job performance. b. Insurance copy will be mailed or attached to estimate. c. Permit and bond as required per job. Or not as per "homeowner's discretion." d. Drop cloths, plastic used as necessary for finish flooring and keeping dust to minimal. Job site to be picked up and swept daily. e. No loud music, smoking, personal calls, foul language permitted. 5. Contract deposits and draw payments kept fair across the board; also we do allow clients to charge material expenses, allowing the option to put some expense on credit rather than cash. If kept simple and brief feel free to call 216-288-3848 or email [email protected] with your concerns. With Enthusiasm, Nathaniel

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Pedestal sinks can be worth it, depending on your goals and bathroom setup. These sinks are an excellent option for saving space in a small bathroom and making the floor feel bigger. You can also save money by installing a pedestal sink instead of a bathroom vanity, which usually costs more. Lastly, you won’t have as much clutter on your pedestal sink as on a vanity countertop.

Yes, you should always call a plumber to replace a pipe that you fixed with a temporary solution. Some temporary pipe leak solutions like pipe leak clamps can last for years and prevent further damage to your home, but eventually, they will fail, at which point you could be looking at more significant water damage and mold growth. Even if you suspect that your temporary solution will last a long time, always call a plumber for a permanent fix. Temporary solutions should be for minimizing damage and avoiding added charges for emergency plumbing services.

You’ll have to look around the house to find different sources of a hidden leak. Check for water under the sinks in the kitchen, bathrooms, and utility rooms. Look at your bathtubs, showers, and toilets, including inside the toilet tanks. Puddles can form around your water heater, so take a good look around it. Inspect appliances like your washer, dishwasher, and refrigerator as well. Look for stains on the walls and ceilings, and listen for drips and running water.

The average cost of hiring a plumber is about $125 per hour, but rates can vary between $45 and $200 in most cases. In general, the more experience and training the plumber has, the higher the cost. Some plumbers also charge on a per-project basis rather than by the hour. Below are some typical costs for common plumbing jobs:

  • Drain unclogging: $220

  • Leaky faucet: $270

  • Burst pipe repair: $400

  • Toilet repair: $300

  • Water heater repair: $600

Removing calcium and lime buildup will often fix a clogged faucet head. You can usually remove any buildup with distilled white vinegar or a combination of vinegar, dish soap, and baking soda. Sometimes, the problem is buildup on the aerator, in which case removing and cleaning that part should fix your water flow. However, the design of some aerators makes them difficult to clean. For those, replacing the aerator will get the faucet flowing well again.
