Strause Landscape Construction

Very displeased with the lawn that was installed; however, what happened afterwards is what is so upsetting.  In terms of the lawn, nowhere near enough grass seed was spread down but instead we received a ton of straw.  I had to go out and purchase all new seed and basically put in my own lawn.
During installation of the lawn, he damaged the neighbor?s underground wire of the Invisible Fence.  I told my neighbor to give us the bill ($109.33) and that it would be taken care of.  I called Ray and explained to him that I would call my insurance company and see what they could do.  He replied that if it was only $109.33  that he would just pay the bill instead of filing a claim. After speaking with my insurance company,  I telephoned Ray and told him that they denied the claim and stated that Strause Landscape Construction LLC was liable and at blame for this act being as Ray damaged the wire fence using the rock hound machine.  At that point, Ray told me that he was going on vacation and could not do anything at the time but that he would get back to me once he returned.  I waited about 3-4 weeks to call him and I had to leave a message.  I told him that I already paid the bill to Invisible Fence and wanted to know how he would handle this to make it right and to please return my call.  I still have yet to hear back from him as of this review on February 17, 2013.  Eight months later I feel that I have given him more than enough time to reply and make things right with me as a customer of his. I wanted to share on this on Angie?s List because I would not want anyone else to be taken advantage of like I was.
