First I must say I am so pleased with the rug after cleaning! These people can really clean rugs. It only took a week and the rug smells good and looks oh so good. It had not been cleaned in about 10 years and they even got some old wine stains out of it. I am very pleased with the cleaning.

However not so pleased with the delivery. After bringing in the rug myself I decided to have them bring it back to me because it is heavy and I am fairly old. So they called on Wed. and said they would deliver between noon and 3 the next day. Wonderful. Well, they came at 11:30, rang the front bell and no one answered because we were in the back yard. So they left. I called them at noon to get a better idea of time and was told that they already came and left. They came early. I asked if they could come back and they said no. The only time I could have it delivered was a week later. I went to Arslanian Brothers and picked the rug up myself. They deducted the 25.00 delivery charge. Since they came at the wrong time I though they should have come back. Also it seems that they could have walked around to the back of the house and knocked there. Many times people's doorbells do not work. We were in the back yard and would have known that they were there to deliver. We were in the house at the agreed time.

"We had our ducts cleaned by another company 15 years ago and thought they did a fairly decent job. We were shocked at the amount of drywall, nails and lots of dust that Productive removed. Just to let you know - it is very loud. They drill a couple of holes in the ducts and hook up a vacuum to it. The vacuum is very effective and loud. They clean all the registers and returns and sealed the holes back up. Very clean and professional. Thanks, Jake!

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best cleaner to remove soot depends on the surface material and the type of fire, but consider dish soaps or degreasers, baking soda, rubbing alcohol, and hydrogen. Low-oxygen fires often leave behind greasy soot, which is best removed with dish soaps or degreasers. Baking soda can be useful for absorbing soot deposits from carpets, followed by rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean the set-in stains.

Yes, using an oven cleaner is a great alternative for cleaning your stovetop. Remove any grates and then spray the surface down. Allow the cleaner to sit for about 20 minutes, and then scrub it clean with a damp non-abrasive sponge. Dry and polish it off using a dry microfiber towel, and you’re done.

Professionals use high-pressure steam cleaners, brushes, and specialized cleaning solutions for effective results.

Yes, many professionals offer ultrasonic cleaning for thorough, chemical-free results.

Kitchen towels should be washed after significant use or every week in order to prevent food-borne illnesses. The rules are somewhat less strict for bathroom towels, but they should still be washed frequently, around every 3 to 5 days to help avoid any build-up of bacteria. Other recommendations say bathroom towels should be washed after every three uses.
