"Paul came and was very professional with his questions about my project being sure that he understood what i needed. Then he made sure that he provided the best solution for my electrical needs. He gave me a very reasonable bid. After I hired his company he sent his crew and they did a fantastic job and were very professional and nice. I would recommend this company to all I know for their electrical needs."

"These guys ran original wiring from the electric panel to the garage, installed lights, outlets, an outside socket and exterior lights. The garage had one light bulb and one outlet. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work or the price. I just wish I had taken before and after pictures. They are on my agenda for further renovations."

Customers say: Super punctual

"Steve was great! He was able to fit us into his schedule quickly and work around our tricky availability. He's incredibly friendly and professional. If you want good work done at a very reasonable price, Go with Steve @ Quick Connect. He made quick work of our lath and plaster walls and added the 4 outlets we needed. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat!"

"They did professional work replacing a electrical panel for us. They also went above and beyond to tidy and organize existing electrical wire/cat5 cables in the area they were working. We would definitely recommend and hire again for future projects!"

Electrical questions, answered by experts

If your breaker box won’t reset, stay on, trips when overloaded, or gets seriously damaged, you will need to replace the breakers or possibly the entire panel. A damaged breaker can lead to a fire, so it’s best to err on the safe side and look into replacement. Hire a professional electrician to replace a breaker box to ensure your personal and property safety.

You can check if an electrician is licensed in New York by using the online license verification search tool offered by the New York State Education Department. The database is updated daily and gives you the option of searching by license number, contractor name, or the name of the business.

Yes, a bad switch can cause other outlets not to work. If the switch is part of a circuit that controls multiple outlets, a fault in the switch can disrupt the entire circuit. It can happen if the switch is wired incorrectly, has a loose connection, or is damaged. Fixing or replacing the faulty switch can often restore power to the affected outlets

A GFCI outlet is easy to identify. It features two buttons on the face that read “TEST” and “RESET.” Sometimes, the “RESET” button is red. These are positioned in the center of the two three-prong plug-in slots you see on a regular outlet. Some also feature a green light to indicate when the outlet is working, changing to red when there is a problem.

If a 3-way switch is wired incorrectly, this can cause several issues. The most common problem is that the switches will not function properly: Either both switches won’t work, or only one will. Another issue is that one switch will trigger a short circuit, tripping the circuit breaker.
