"We recently had tile installed in our store, and the results are absolutely amazing. They took the time to prepare the space properly and made sure every tile was perfectly aligned and securely placed. The craftsmanship really stands out?the floors look clean, modern, and have completely elevated the appearance of our store. If you?re looking for high-quality tile installation with great attention to detail and excellent customer service, I highly recommend them."

"We originally went to the Carpet Store for a price comparison of an engineered wood sample we liked from Bockrath. The Carpet Store did not carry that particular product, but got a quote for a special order - which ended up being $5/ sq. ft. cheaper than the price offered at Bockrath. The installation was also cheaper. Bob came out and measured as scheduled and did some extra measuring for us for a future purchase. They promised two weeks for the order, and it came in 2 weeks and it was installed as scheduled. It was installed very quickly - only took the guys 3 hours or so to do the whole thing.
We haven't moved the furniture into the room yet, as we are still painting, but we have noticed a few small d**** in the wood already. It seems odd because we haven't used the room. So, we're a little hesitant about the quality and as to why there are dents already, but time will tell, I suppose. It was supposed to be high quality, and we certainly paid a high-quality price! That would be my only minor complaint at this point, though.
We are planning to finish covering our entire bottom floor in the same wood, and will likely use the carpet store again.

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Buffing will only remove scratches at the surface level of your flooring. You may also need to apply hardwood floor wax to restore the wax layer. To remove deeper scratches, you’ll need another floor repair method like sanding; however, if you sand the floor, you’ll also need to stain and seal it.

Yes, polished concrete floors are worth it for homeowners who want durability, style, and low maintenance in one sleek flooring surface. You get the modern visual appeal of stone or tile with far less upkeep and far less cost. Polished concrete flooring is tough enough for high-traffic areas, it’s a great choice for people with allergies, and it’s easy to clean. If your existing concrete is in good shape, polishing it can give you solid value that shines on for years.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

You can buff out small scratches or indentations from your hardwood floor, but refinishing is your best bet if you have larger areas that need work. Floors in relatively good shape but have lost their luster can be restored with thorough buffing. If your finish has worn off in areas or if you have sun or water damage, you should go with refinishing instead.

The answer to this question depends on how large the room is and how much experience you have stripping and waxing floors. It will take at least 24 hours to strip the floors, then you must allow time for drying, waxing, waiting for them to cure, and, finally, buffing them. Since you likely will not be working for the full 24 hours, it is safe to say that this is a two- or three-day job.
