Cody saved the day with this job. I got extremely lucky that he had a free week to refinish my floors before my move in date. I had ripped up the old carpet and planned to refinish the original red oak from the 1940s myself, but the rental sanders were no match for the original finish. Cody worked magic and practically made some old nail holes dissappear and the floors are gorgeous! He was updating me on the progress daily and always friendly. Not to mention, he had the floors move-in safe right on time. Hire him for your floors!

While house hunting, I came across an adorable Cape Cod home in Kettering. I almost walked out of the Open House due to the condition of the hardwood floors. They were the original floors and had seen much better days! Knowing we would have the floors refinished, we bought the house. Letâ s just say that Cody of Next Generation Hardwood is a MIRACLE WORKER!! He brought life back to the old, tattered floors! They are beautiful! Cody was professional and communicated with me throughput the process to make sure we were on the same page (with the stain and finish). Our wood floors look great and definitely met our refinishing expectations. The company does very well at communicating with you during the whole process and giving picture updates with each step. They are easy to work with and accommodating on scheduling.

WOW!!! Cody (owner) at Next Generation Hardwood did an outstanding job on our new floor installation! With having an older home there were so MANY constructional issues in two rooms we were wanting to have completed. I had multiple companies come out to give an estimate. A couple (who had been in business for years) would not take on the job due to the difficulty. A couple did not even get back to me (obviously not wanting to deal with the challenge) After more searching online I came across Next Generation Hardwood. Due to their great reviews I decided to give it one more shot. Met with Cody and he was ready for the challenge! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, passionate, and personable. The communication was excellent and the price was very affordable. Cody worked hard and non stop on this project! He has excellent attention to detail always going above and beyond. Needless to say we are beyond pleased with our new flooring we thought would never be possible!! We definitely highly recommend Next Generation Hardwood!!!!!

Cody and his team were great! The floors look fantastic and they worked with our tight schedule. The cost was exactly as quoted. Cody helped advise on stain color and whether or not to replace unwanted stained boards. I'd definitely hire them again if needed.

Cody and his team did a fantastic job! We just purchased a home that needed many improvements and we are so glad we started with the flooring, it has made a huge difference. our home had that typical 80â s orange hardwood and carpet- Cody removed our carpet, got flooring to match the rest of the house , sanded and refinished the old to match the new and we couldnâ t be happier! Cody was extremely patient in helping us choose the color we wanted by laying down many stains on the floors so we could see in person. he was communicative, efficient, and respectful. The job was done quickly and he even helped us move some of our furniture around, which he definitely didnâ t need to do. We have recommended him to many family and friends.

I had hired Next Gen Hardwood to refinish some floors for me and they did an excellent job. They were efficient and considerate about making sure my needs were met. I did however need an additional repair done after I had scratched the hardwood floors and they were not prompt with getting back with me. Once I did finally get a hold of them and asked for advice and an additional quote for the new repair, they didn't reach back out as they said they would.

Cody and Ryan were awesome! This was the first time Iâ ve ever had to do a project like refinishing wood floors, and I am so grateful that it was Cody who was guiding us. He was encouraging of our style and helped me feel confident in the overall finish, which covered over 2000 square feet. Their work has been the highlight of our new home.
