Mr. Betts was extremely helpful and answered questions that addressed all our concerns about not only the deteriorated sill plates but the damp basement.

David was great!! I reached out and he quickly came out, did a thorough inspection of our walls, roof and the structure of our home. He was able to answer all of our questions about of project and gave us a couple of choices for a design. He then had a quick turn around for the drawings needed for the permit... within a week! And gave us a few more design options that we weren't expecting! He went a step further and helped me with ordering lumber and what to do for our permit. He was awesome!! Thanks David!

We were impressed with the services we received. We had what we thought was "erupting" concrete in the garage of our home, around a support pole. Tracy Mitchell came out within the week. He fully assessed our situation, took pictures and submitted a detailed written report. Our situation was that the rest of the garage floor had settled some (30 yr old home) and around the pole it stayed at the original elevation, making it seem higher than the rest of the floor. Tracy Mitchell then proceeded to inspect our basement and the external walls of the home, concluding that it was solid and in very good structural condition, with no settling of the structure. Some cracks in foundation wall that leak a little are not structurally concerning and he suggested how they could be addressed

The total job was well done and has a life time warranty as long as the house is here. They worked very hard and cleaned up as they went I was always kept informed when any problems arose and had input on how to proceed.

"Had Betts Structural Engineering come and look at the foundation of a house we were in contract on. Josh came out and was professional and informative. He informed us the foundation was failing and explained what needed to be done. He throughly explained everything and told us how we could do it ourselves for much cheaper than a contractor could do it. In the end he saved us from a long and expensive process if we proceeded with the house.

"Based on concerns of the home inspector, I hired a structural engineer to check out the house I was considering. I have no experience with home ownership and wanted assurance I was making a good decision for my son and my first home. My realtor gave me a list of structural engineers he worked with in the past. Tracy was my second call. I left a voicemail for the first person and did not get a return call. Tracy answered the phone, asked questions I could understand and answer and an appointment was made only a few days later. I met him and my realtor at the house. Tracy was extremely prompt and got immediately to work. I appreciated how he checked out every area of the home, not just the ones identified by the building inspector. He took the time to explain to me in terms I could understand, any areas of concerns and how to fix them, without me feeling talked down to. His written report came quickly and I felt confident proceeding with the sale. I would Use Tracy again and will recommend him to others.

"I'm very pleased. I had concerns about dust and fumes from the epoxy. The dust was minimal and fumes were not an issue at all. If I had to do it all over again, I'd set up a box fan with filters, as I've seen on YouTube, but even without that, the dust was not overwhelming. The workers arrived on time, explained what they were going to do and welcomed my checking in on them. When they went to lunch, they cleaned up their work area, (even put the toilet seat down in the basement bathroom), something I didn't expect at all. I had questions when they were at lunch, and the salesman got the answers I needed quickly. A couple of things I would change about this process: 1. After they were done, cleaned the area for the day, and put their equipment away, one of the workers invited me downstairs to approve their work. If I had not approved, it was a bit late for me to object as they were packed and ready to go. I suggest in the future the homeowner be asked for their approval before everything's packed up. Their work looked good, but this seemed like a manipulative tactic that wasn't appreciated. 2. The more experienced of the two workers explained early on that he needed to remove some insulation but assured me he'd put it back when he was done. When I saw that he'd not put it back, I mentioned it. He refused to put it back, saying "It doesn't matter". It was an odd way to end a perfect job up to that point. I was totally pleased with how everything was handled, and then that comment and behavior from him just put a bad taste in my mouth. That evening or the next day, I received a very nice gift from the company that was just a really nice touch. A couple of weeks later, we had heavy rains and I experienced water along the walls where the work was done. Within a week of me raising the concern, an arrangement for a technician to visit my home was made. I appreciate their prompt attention to the matter. I expect it's very simple like needing more epoxy at the base of the straps, so I decided to go ahead and submit this review. It's difficult to find trustworthy people to do work in your home. I'm very relieved I found a company that is totally worthy of that trust and highly recommend Acculevel. The work they did looks good and solid.
EverDry of Cincinnati is a full service basement waterproofing and foundation repair company. Our patented multi-step system is chosen by the vast majority of out customers.
"My home was waterproofed and a sump pump was installed in February 2021. Every employee from the inspectors to the men doing the labor were respectful and dependable. The week they were here it snowed several inches every day and they showed up every day and worked in cold/snowy conditions completing the job in a week. I’ve had no problems in a year since. I would recommend Everdry to anyone needing waterproofing
