"I needed a quick turnaround wallpaper removal/new paint job for my mom?s room as I was in town for a short time. Five Star Painting got it done? a two-day, amazing transformation of her room! The FSP team moved the furniture away from the walls, taped all down airtight, and removed the old wallpaper and chair rail. They cleaned the *entire* work area so my mom was able to sleep in her own bed that night. Second day, they sanded down the dings, cracks, and imperfections in the walls, and had them freshly painted? in addition to the ceiling and closet ?by the end of the day! It looks like brand new drywall! They cleaned every speck of dust from their work area! The FSP team was always on time, worked fast, but also efficiently and professionally. I will definitely call FSP when my parents are ready to tackle the rest of the wallpaper in their other rooms. I highly recommend FSP for wallpaper removal and paint jobs. "We had a flood due to a water supply line break in our under our kitchen sink.  The cabinet under our sink, as well as our hardwood floors were extremely wet due to the amount of water that gushed out of the burst lines.  Additionally, our basement was also affected (it was raining through the ceiling) and the ceiling and floor tiles were ruined.  Puro Clean came out that day, inspected the damage and brought in the equipment the next morning.  We were very happy with the professionalism of the Puro Clean staff and are confident our home is sufficiently dry to make repairs to affected areas.  We cannot comment yet on the price as we have not received a bill yet."

"We were very pleased with Damian and his crew. They were punctual, polite, knowledgeable and pleasant.  We had a number of small problems that needed addressing, and they were able to take care of all of them well. The event that inspired our call was when a neighbor's teenage daughter's boyfriend accidentally lost hold of a golf club and it flew onto our deck, breaking a kitchen window, and damaging the frame. We also had had an annoyingly malfunctioning garage door opening system for a while. On top of that, we had several small projects that we kept thinking we were going to get to ourselves, and just never found time. So when the window needed replacement, we called Damian. He and his crew had done a little work for us a year or so earlier when they were just starting out as a brand new operation. We got an incredible deal through the Big Deals on Angie's List for the work that time; the work they did was fine, much better than we expected for the price we paid. Despite that, we debated whether we should call them for the more detailed work we needed, since they were so new. We did, however, largely because they were so responsive and helpful the first time. I must say they did a terrific job. The window they installed seems to fit better and work better than the one they replaced (and this is not an old house, so the "old" window wasn't very). The garage door system is lovely and we couldn't believe how quickly and competently they installed it. The ceiling fan in my daughter's room that was always malfunctioning now has a new light kit that has stopped the wobbling and the rubbing sound, which is an enormous improvement. The faucet no longer drips, and the kitchen cabinets (which were installed by the previous owners without hardware) look fabulous with their contemporary hardware.  Finally, we repeatedly had tried to patch the peeling paint, caulk, and drywall around the top of the shower stall in the kids' bathroom, and it had never held. Damian's crew correctly diagnosed the shortcut taken by the builders, dug in and corrected it, and patched the drywall perfectly and smoothly.  They advised us how to prime and paint it properly, and now you could never tell that it used to be an ugly mess; it's smooth, clean and beautiful. We really appreciated Spot-On working with our tight budget for all this work. We have two kids in college right now, and don't have a lot of spare cash.  We were very pleased with their work, their professionalism, and their willingness to work with our budget -- they even offered to split the job so that we could do it in manageable pieces.  We are very happy with this handyman service and will definitely call on them again.

As an aside, upon entering the unit, he also told me he smelled mold even though my unit doesn't have an water issues, and encouraged me to follow up.

"Work was done quickly and was both excellent and affordable. I was in the process of selling the house and needed to ensure the garage and front gutter were fixed quickly but also well done. Bob and team was responsive and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend this team!"

"We originally did a report on this company when the work was performed. We rated this company all A's. About 6 months after the install, we noticed that a tile was cracked but we did not do anything about it. A year after the install, we called Tip Top Tile back to the house because we notice there were about 10 tiles cracked. He came to the house and very quickly indicated that it was not an installation problem that it was a problem with our tiles. He indicated that they were poor quality. He also stated that there was nothing more he could do. Bob never informed us when he was installing the tiles that they were of poor quality. Actually, he said they were average quality. If he would have indicated that they were poor quality, I would have purchased new tiles. Bob also never made us sign anything indicating that the tiles were poor quality and that he was not responsible if there was a problem down the road. Here we are three and a half years later and approximately 30 - 40 percent of our tiles are cracked.There are jagged edges and we have cut ourselves while cleaning the floor. It is very dangerous and the floor has to be replaced. We contacted other installers and each installer indicated Bob did a poor job because he did not put thin set down before he put the cement board down. Bob cut corners and we are now paying for it. The floor is still shifting due to the heating and cooling and the tiles are cracking. Average price to have my floor ripped up and a new floor installed is approximately 8,000 to 10,000. We contacted an attorney and discussed the case with him. The attorney agreed that corners were cut and that it was the fault of the installer. The only problem is that we only had two years to seek legal action and we were to late. If you use Tip Top Tile, please beware. We will not use him again."
