"The person that did the work was careful and efficient. We are very happy with the end result. It looks like new. The odor from the coating was pretty strong and took a few days to clear from our bathroom because the bathroom does not have a window that opens If we had been able to open a window in the bathroom the odor would probably have dissipated faster."

"CONSUMER BEWARE: This Company should not be installing shower units.. I hired this company after all the hype on what they can do for me and promises. My job started on July 8,2024 and wasn't completed till Oct. 2024. So much for the 4 day install. I had 4 different crews and none of them had any professional experience. They manage to cut through my floor joist over 1/2 way. Installed 3 different shower bases due to lack of experience installing the correct way. The first base was installed off center, the second base was installed in the correct direction to find out the joist didn't have to be cut . A subfloor section also cut out 12 x 20 for the initial install which wasn’t needed if it was installed correctly.. The 3rd base was installed due to the drum trap that was installed. The walls panels/plywood panels all had to be torn back off due to incorrect installation with not being level. They didn't get the proper permits needed. Found out a T or Drum trap was installed which is prohibited in the State of Ohio. The crews didn't know local plumbing or structural codes that are used in the State of Ohio. I had to constantly watch the crew to ensure they weren't cutting corners. I even had to go to small claims court."

Two alternatives to reglazing are installing a bathtub inlay or a bathtub liner. An inlay is a low-priced mat that adheres to the bottom of a bathtub or shower. It’s useful for sealing minor leaks and concealing damage on the bottom of a tub. On the other hand, a bathtub liner is essentially a protective casing that goes over the entire tub. They are usually custom-fit and cost more than reglazing yet don’t last as long.

It takes about 24 hours for the tub resurfacing smell to go away or the total dry time, although you will notice it the most during the first couple of hours. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or ask your bathtub resurfacing pro how long it takes for the smell to dissipate.
