"Used a shop vac to sweep what they did get out, leaving a coat of dust on everything in our living room. Used 1 sponge they wet once to clean. We were quoted $75, with multiple discussions on what they could do. Explained all the $75 was for inspection and sweep from the top of chimney, which we had removed last year. $600 for a deep cleaning and then tried to charge $1200. If this was a deep cleaning, I ll eat my hat. We signed contract with no amount on it."

"I called Superior Chimney after having a certain top rated Columbus chimney place do some work. The Company Who Must Not be Named quoted me 5k for everything, interior and exterior work, and then after doing 3k worth of work inside, told me it was going to actually be an additional 10k to replace spalling bricks. They claimed they were going to have to tear down half the chimney. Superior Chimney came out promptly and did it all in addition to fixing the other places shoddy work on our new cap all for about $1,400. I hate to think how much they'd have saved me if I'd had them do the interior work on the chimney but I'm grateful I found them when I did! It's a small company and they are all nice as can be. They came out when they said they would and worked all day until it was finished. I can't recommend them enough and have already sent my brother-in-law their way."

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and registered a dispute with my credit card company relative to the deposit. I received a text from an A1 representative on September 26th asking if he could assist me since he saw that the deposit charge was in dispute. I made the same refund request. He said that he could not do anything until the bank finished their investigation. The bank closed the dispute and restored the charge to my credit card on October 19th. I texted the representative again with the refund request. There was no response to request number 6. I have not been contacted again by A1 since 9/26."
