Chim-Kleen Chimney Svc

He was prompt, courteous and mindful of keeping the area around our wood burning stove clean.  He performed the services we needed in order to fix our Buck wood burning stove.  We were very pleased with the service.

He did a great job again this year.

We have used chim-kleen previously to clean our fireplace, but this year we were concerned about the panels on the fireplace insert. It is the original insert from 1996, and we did not know if they could be replaced. Chim-kleen was able to assure us the panels were available, but did not have the exact price, or stocking situation from the distributor. He called back with the price, and availability was 1-2 weeks. This was no problem, as we were not ready to use the fireplace this year.
On the return visit, it took about 1 1/2 hours to install, as one of the panels needed to be cut down. That was done outside at his truck. On every occasion, the floor was covered to prevent a mess, clean up was very good, and we feel the price is very reasonable, and punctuality is excellent.

I was pleased by the work. While here, he also replaced the spark screen at the top of the chimney. What really sold me was that after he finished, he told me that based on the amount of build-up in the chimney, I really didn't need to have it cleaned every year. When someone tells you that you don't need to use their service every year, you know they are looking out for your interests and not just their bottom line.

Randy did a nice job cleaning the chimney and fireplace. He cleaned up well afterwards. I also commend him for being willing to travel long distances to provide this service.

It was so easy to deal with this company! I called to schedule a chimney sweep and Randy was able to come out the very next day. He cleaned it out and checked it for damage. Luckily it was all good! He left everything spotless. He also answered my questions about gas log fireplaces as we will have one in our new house. Thanks Randy!

Chim-Kleen is a great company to work with! Randy Morse is a great guy---obviously knows his trade and does an excellent job! Randy arrived promptly, covered my new carpeting, and went straight to work cleaning out the fireplace, mesh curtains and glass doors. He inspected the fireplace for safety, and then went outside and inspected the chimney for safety, also.
Randy was very thorough, informative, honest, friendly and an overall great person to come into my home and clean and inspect my fireplace. He cleaned and picked everything up so well that I didn't have to do a single thing after he left.

very good, he swept the chimney, checked all areas inside and outside, and then gave me suggestions on how to better insulate the area to avoid heat loss.

He did a very good job and repaired the problem. He was very upfront with us and our wood burning stove is doing great now. He cleaned everything up during and after he was finished. He did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.

Punctual, personable and professional! Not only did he thoroughly clean the fireplace and chimney, he even washed the glass and the fireplace screen. Highly recommended and will use again!

When you say that someone is the best, there is not much more you can add.

Randy starts by laying large drop cloths in front of the fireplace then brings in a large vacumn cleaner and then cleans the chimney, fire box and above the box and he will tell you if you have any problems or excess buildup.

He has been cleaning our chimney and stove for 22 years. Randy is excellent in every way. He is the best in our opinion. We have also been buying firewood from him for about as long as he has been selling it. He has seemingly lost his firewood sources (out of business) and may not be able to replace them. Based on my past experiences, he is very honest and has always provided excellent quality wood, and a full cord. Finally, when someone is the best, what more can be said!

It all went well. Randy was on time, professional, friendly and neat. We have used this company twice and have been satisfied both times.

EXCELLENT Service!!! I'm a 34yr old 1st time home buyer. Im new to all home improvements/chores. Randy first of all squeezed us in on his day off (AWESOME and MUCH APPRECIATED). I explained to him my position and he patiently guided me on all the work he was going to perform. He did a fantastic job and cleaned up after himself amazing. He additionally provided me very useful and appreciative knowledge regarding our wood stove. He showed us how to burn wood, how to turn on the wood stove fan, and how to vent properly. Additionally, he took a look at our recently purchased seasoned firewood and helped understand meanings such as a "cord of firewood". It went very well. My husband worked with Randy and said that Randy was delightful to work with.

He was friendly, called to confirm time, arrived on time and was clean and efficient.

Randy has cleaned our chimney and wood stove for over 15 years. We have bought firewood from him for some time as well. He delivered another cord of wood today. He always delivers a full cord of very good quality hard wood. My wife and I have always found Randy to be very honest and dependable. You can deal with him in complete confidence, every time!

Randy called about an hour before the appointed block of time to confirm appointment and to say that he was running ahead of schedule and would it be okay for him to come by early to start the job. I said it was okay and he arrived about 1/2 hour earlier, identified himself at the door and confirmed the work that was to be done. He covered all areas around the fireplace and went to work which took about 1.15. Before he started I asked him if he would recommend a sealant for the firebox after I showed him where there was about a 1/2" gap and he said he would. On his own he painted the exterior piece next to the chimney cap and sealed the gap without me asking him to (I was not aware of the rusted part by the chimney cap). He covered the entire area around the fireplace before starting and left the entire area clean upon completion of the job. I told him that when I needed the fireplace cleaned again, I would call him and he thanked me.

Did a wonderful job....great clean-up, pleasant duo (father and son), worked every minute they were here. I will use this company's services from now on. Thank God for Angie's list!

He has cleaned our chimney and wood stove each year for over fifteen years as I recall. He is excellent in all respects. My wife and I would give him a "A" rating in all categories. When someone is the best, there is not much more one can say! We also buy our firewood from him. He is excellent in this category as well. His wood is good quality, and when he tells you he is bringing a chord of wood you know that is what you are getting. This is a rare "quality" also.
