"We've worked with Gustavo on two projects and I would absolutely hire him again in the future. The most recent project was fairly large. We hired him as the general contractor to convert our unfinished attic space into two bedrooms and one bathroom. This involved demolishing a portion of the roof, framing a large dormer, and the entire interior, electrical, plumbing, insulation and all finishing. I could trust Gustavo throughout the process and could tell that he put great pride in his work and was always striving for quality. For example, I am not particularly knowledgeable about construction, but one of our neighbors pointed out to us that they noticed he was using high quality materials compared to the wood that comes from home depot. We had the architect on site several times throughout the project and he never had any concerns with the work being done. No issues came up during any of our inspections by the town and the building inspector also made comments to us that the work looked to have been well done. We got several bids on the project and I also appreciated that Gustavo gave us an itemized proposal including separating material and labor costs for all the work he was planning to do. He was also willing to work with us on creating a reasonable payment schedule for the project. The other project was more medium size. During our home inspection prior to purchasing our house the inspector identified that the construction on the deck in the back was done very poorly by the previous owners. The joists were all rotting, flashing was not installed correctly causing the sill plate of the house to begin rotting. The project involved repairing the poorly done work. The project was a few years back so I can't remember all the details, but there were no hiccups of note that I can recall."

"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. This man is an absolute top-rate craftsman of the highest order. Every single job that he has done for us has been done with great care, detail, and amazing quality. All of this done with complete trust, no price increases unless there is an impending issue that comes up, and extreme reliability. We have other work that we need done, and there is absolutely nobody else that I will ever call in the Hudson Valley - Anton is our man! We have had nightmare issues in the past finding good carpenters and contractors - they are usually not reliable, do garbage or incorrect work, overcharge, etc so when we found Anton, we were amazed and are now thrilled. If you need something taken care of in your home or want to upgrade some appearance, painting, stonework, repair, decks, I give my highest recommendation to call Anton. "I'm that person who has a general distrust of contractors due to a few truly terrible experiences. I blame myself for these bad experiences because I didn't vet the people I hired throughly enough. With the retaining wall bordering my driveway was collapsing and the driveway beginning to split, I knew this wasn't a project I could brush off, so I began an intense search for contractors. Using Angie, I found two contractors I liked for the job, but hired Hector Santucci because he presented a better plan for the restoration of that portion of the driveway that was going to be damaged while removing the old wall. Santucci Brothers has shown me there are good, professional, honest contractors out there, if you just take the time to find them. Hector Santucci and his crew were professional, polite and excellent at their jobs. These are some true craftsmen. Not only is my new wall massive, strong, built to last, but it's quite beautiful. In particular, while the mortar joints on the old wall, which was built by hacks, were three, sometimes as much as four inches wide, Hector's crew tightened everything up, fitting the stones together beautifully, even recessing the mortar on the face. When they were done, they cleaned everything up, power washed the driveway, and even planted new grass. Santucci Brothers stayed on estimate, stayed on schedule, and lived up to everything they had promised me. Communicating with them was easy and efficient."

"Juliano was very responsive and receptive of ideas I had for the project. The work done turned out the way I wanted and was able to do it within my price range. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the cleanup afterwards. There was more saw dust leftover than I anticipated. Regardless, I would recommend and would hire again for further projects."

"I've used Champion for many years and for many projects. Kitchens, bathrooms, interior and exterior painting, flooring, roofing, bathrooms, decks and window installations. I have never had an issue with them. Their work is clean, they are reliable and the workers are genuinely nice people. This time it was to remove my old deck and build a new composite deck, paint trim and do some trim carpentry. All done perfectly. If you want a contractor that treats your house like it was theirs then give them a call."
