I had 2 overgrown sidewalks that were uncovered very quickly by Handy Lawn and Tree Care. They even got all the weeds from between each brick of the sidewalk. They have made it easier for me to care for my lawn by removing thick brush and trees from around the property. I 100% recommend!

Always been very helpful in repair of cars and tires. One of the few places around that will take care of farm equipment tires. A wonderful old-fashioned kind of do it all place. Just call or drop by with the tire you need and they will take care of it. Cars equally no problem.

If your lawn and general landscape are struggling, consider calling a local landscape specialist to suggest lawn amendments, local plants, and hardscape changes to boost the long-term health of your outdoor space. While you may be able to take on small projects yourself—such as reseeding your lawn or testing the soil—a professional can help you build a plan to bring a struggling yard back to life quickly.

You should avoid mowing your newly planted grass seed until it has grown 3 or 4 inches. This growth can take up to two months, depending on factors such as grass type, soil, and weather conditions. Before mowing, make sure that your grass is dry to prevent blade damage. Do not remove more than one-third of the grass blade on the initial mow.

Always mow the lawn on a short setting when overseeding. The thinner coverage offers more space for the grass seed to take root in the soil. When reseeding a lawn, however, you may need to remove your old turf altogether.

Carpetgrass is a low-maintenance grass requiring little fertilization that thrives in subprime growing conditions. However, regular mowing is necessary to avoid the growth of unsightly seed stalks, and you may have to water it frequently to prevent drying out the soil. That includes watering the grass over dry winters to help keep it healthy, and it may start dying out in particularly cold climates where it grows poorly. Carpetgrass can also be vulnerable to some types of turf fungus, so it’s important not to overthatch.
