Mackenzie is absolutely wonderful and Rhoda always smells so fresh after grooming. She is a keeper!

Great except Casey is older and very anxious out of her daily routine. Dr. Hale and I thought she might need a little something to relax her for future visits. Great call (as usual). Always the best care for our furry friends and helpful suggestions.

Dr. Rae Clark and the technician made our nervous kitty feel completely relaxed. Not only are they pros at dealing with animals, they can talk to people in an informative and friendly way too! Everyone there is first rate.

Luigi was very scared when he went in he had been there previously to have his teeth cleaned and teeth removed and was separated from his family for a day the doctor was very patient with him the rest of the staff in the text we're very gentle and reassuring and Luigi survive like a big brave boy

It went extremely well! The people at the desk greeted us immediately and pulled out our dog's chart to begin the process of intake. We were taken in to the examination room on time and met by our vet and the technician. She listened to our description of our dog's symptoms and watched him as he walked around to assess what she was seeing. She explained two possibilities for the symptoms and then proceeded with a full exam. She diagnosed a severe inner ear infection and assessed that he was in a lot of pain. She gave him an injection to prevent vomiting and 4 other meds for us to administer at home. She then had us make an appointment for our dog in a week for reassessment and possible additional treatments.

It was an excellent visit and our dog was treated with love and respect. We truly appreciate Dr. Hurley and all who work at Stack Veterinary Hospital.

The staff at Stack Veterinary Hospital really cared about my pet, they treated him like he was a person.  They took time with him and were excellent.  They were a little pricey.

We've been clients at Stack Veterinary Hospital for many years, and we've never been disappointed.  At our most recent visit, Erin, a vet tech, thoroughly groomed one of our cats (he had MANY knots) and bathed him, and he was returned to us happy, beautiful, and smelling great!  Our visit before that was for an annual checkup for another cat, and Dr. Hurley gave a very thorough examination, explaining everything and handling our cat very gently.

We've made many visits to Stack Veterinary Hospital over the years, most of them happy but a few very sad when our pets were ill or at the end of their lives.  Regardless of the situation, we've always been treated with professional expertise and, when appropriate, great compassion.  I would highly recommend all of the veterinarians, and the office and animal care staff, without hesitation.

They were wonderful. They are reasonably priced. The owner and operator come from 3 generations of Veterinarians. They go out of the way to give good care. All the Vets are capable. They have a physical therapy department and masseuse.

They are wonderful. Their prices are very reasonable and very convenient to get to. They staff is always very friendly and understanding. They really care about your pet and take great care with them. I cannot say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend them.

.My pup isn't fully in the clear yet, but through every step of the way, the doctors, the vet techs, and the receptionists have been professional and supportive. They take great care of my pets!

I have used this vet for the past 12 years, for all of my animals (3 dogs and 2 cats currently, and 1 dog and 1 cat we have put to sleep). Although my long-time vet left the practice about a year and a half ago, I have stayed and have experience with several of the vets there. Although some of the vets there now are on the young side, all the vets are great about consulting with each other when they have problem cases. Unfortunately, I have a dog who is now one of those problem cases. He is old, and has Cushing's, blown ACL's, and now diabetes. Through every step of the way, the vets at Stack have been helpful, open to discussion and questions, and willing to contact specialists when needed to get the answers to guide treatment. I've been able to get appointments when needed and have never, ever received bad service. The price is normal for a decent vet clinic, I have checked around at places closer to my home (we now drive 45 minutes to get there) and not found anything cheaper. Now that the clinic has expanded the number of patient rooms, there is very little wait time in the lobby. I'm a very happy client, and plan to stay with this vet clinic for as long as I can deal with the drive!

I have interacted with Stack Veterinary Hospital a few times over the years. When I lived in Illinois and visited my parents, my previous dog boarded there, and we always had a positive experience (despite his notorious difficulties going to a vet office). Now that I have moved to the Syracuse area, I have boarded my current dogs a couple times, and just this past week (Feb. 2014) brought them in for their annual check-up and shots update. One of my pups had a clean bill of health, but the other was found to have heartworm disease. He had no external symptoms, but the test came back positive, and so the vet (Dr. Rae Clark) called and discussed a course of action. During that call she outlined treatment, costs, and options. She was extremely professional and patient. We are moving forward with treatment, but I have been extremely happy with the way with all my experiences with Stack have gone thus far. Every employee has been friendly and helpful, whether it be for a regular vet visit, boarding, or dealing with my pup's new ongoing treatments. I highly recommend their services.

I have been going to Stack Veterinary Hospital for approximately 8-10 years. I have always found their staff to be EXTREMELY knowledgeable; friendly and supportive; provides EXCELLENT veterinary care for my cats and dogs; willing to write Rxs that you can fill online or at your regular pharmacy; have their own specialty services; have a certified veterinary surgeon on staff; willing to make appropriate referrals for physical and /or /rehabilitative treatments. The staff @ Stacks have always given my animals the best
care and treatment possible. When it comes time to have to have a beloved pet euthanized, they are gentle to both the animal and the human. They have recently expanded their hospital and it also has been designated as a 'cat friendly practice.'

Stack veterinary is amazing. After seeing an emergency clinic, and needing a new vet due to relocation, I had to call around to numerous locations. After calling several places, who referred me elsewhere, Debbie got us an appointment that afternoon. She understood how anxious we were to have our dog examined. When we arrived, the front desk was very accommodating. They informed us they were running a little behind due to some emergencies. Our dog becomes very anxious in waiting rooms with other animals and people. Upon seeing this, the assistant immediately took us to an exam room to fill out paperwork. We were quickly seen in another room by Dr. Conjel and her assistant, Linda. Both ignored his bold behavior, asked questions, and really tried together a grasp on his situation. They removed him from the room to perform the exam, and kept checking in to let us know everything was going well. They brought him back in and covered all treatment options. I was so impressed with how little they were phased by him somewhat aggressive nature. Dr. Conjel told us of a behaviorist who visits the office, and how they may have techniques to help reduce his anxiety. We left completely thrilled with the care given to both our dog, and us. Dr. Conjel placed a follow up call with the results of the blood work, and to see how everything was going. All in all this is by far the best veterinary service provider we have ever seen.

It went well, considering we had to make a very difficult decision. Dr. Stack is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever taken my animals to. He told us that all the symptoms we described were an indication of kidney failure. In the end we had no choice but to have him put to sleep. He had lost half of his body weight (he only weighed 4.5 lbs by the time we got him to the vet). They helped with everything involved in the process, and were very sympathetic. I had to go to work and he assured me that someone would be with him the whole time. I can't say enough good things about them. I'll never take my animals anywhere else.
