With their crew the garage was repaired under their supervision to perfection! They were organized, worked quickly and professionally; communicating and responsive through the whole process. We couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Fast forward to March 2022 when we needed to prepare our home to sell. Kristina was there to walk us through all that needed to be done. With Alex’s supervision and Carlos working morning to night, the house quickly was ready to go to market. We HIGHLY recommend Gikas!
- Deck GuardianI do not normally write reviews, but wanted to write this review because of the outstanding work and service provided by Deck Guardian. The whole process was very smooth. We were looking to replace our old and weathered very large (750 sf) wooden deck. We had several estimates, and the estimator for Deck Guardian came in the rain and responded promptly with an estimate. We went to the show room and narrowed down our choices. The show room probably could be better laid out and more customer friendly, but the salesman answered all of our questions and was patient as we changed our mind several times about color and other add-ons. The project manager was in touch with us within 24 hours of signing the contract, and the workers showed up exactly on the day the project manager promised (only 3 days after signing). From that point, the Deck Guardian guys worked from 8 until 5 every day until the job was done. They were excellent, and ran into several problems along the way (we needed to replace some of our wood foundation beams and joists) but each time the project manager immediately called us, worked out the solution, and the guys continued with their work. They accidentally broke a basement window during construction, but informed us immediately, covered the window with plastic and wood and replaced it before they finished the deck. They were done with the job in 8 business days and it came out fantastic. I cannot recommend Deck Guardian highly enough based on the service and, most importantly, great craftsmanship of the workers who actually constructed our new Trex deck. Its like adding a new room onto our house

It is a connected townhome, so it was not as cut and dry due to the considerations of neighbors and space on a narrow street. Joe and his team were top notch from the consultation and price quote, signing of the contract and the start date of the job. It truly was amazing how effortless it was and how Joe took care of all my concerns, no matter how big or small. It was a breath of fresh air watching how professional and efficient his team was and how they knocked out the job in one day without sacrificing quality. They cleaned up completely and now feel so relieved I finally got this big project done. If you need a plus 10 quality roof on a row house or a mansion, this is the place to call. - National Home ImprovementsNational Home Improvement just finished a full gut renovation for us. From the top down... roof, windows, siding, bathrooms, kitchen, floors. We started with covid in full swing, and unfortunately had to deal with delays and setbacks. From lack of materials, to problems with deliveries, everything that could delay, did delay. However, the owner of National, Ralph Favilla, was a gentleman throughout the entire process. He was on site daily, and was constantly communicating with us. Keeping us informed of every detail, and guiding us through the renovation. Fulfilling all of his promises, and then some. Our finished house looks amazing and with Ralph's recommendations, is the nicest on our block. He has lived up to his reviews, and his reputation speaks for itself. I would recommend Ralph wholeheartedly to anyone looking to renovate their homes. You will be in good hands

"My husband felt the guys didn’t know how to go about doing the job and he had to keep advising them. The job was quoted at $700. Once the job was under way, Carpenter removed moulding and said if we wanted it replaced it would be additional $200. Of course it had to be replaced since the old moulding was ripped off! "Before my appointment I received a complete bio of James, my handyman, including his picture. This was very impressive, and made me feel very comfortable with him when he arrived. James was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He looked at my electrical issue and fixed it within minutes. I was living in a new apartment where I was having new onset breathing problems. He reviewed the filthy air ducts and exposed fiberglass in the vents. James was concerned and offered to take a look in the attic where he found serious mold issues.
