"Please visit [*** Link removed ***] - we have plenty of photos of the mess they left behind! Don't believe their reviews BBB.org - they are from family and friends! Johanna C. is Ashley's best friend. Lee is related to Luis.  Roseanne N. is Ashley's mother.  Tony R. is one of the construction workers. LA SUPREME CONTRACTING ABANDONED THE JOB AND TRIED TO EXTORT US FOR MONEY. WHEN THEY REALIZED THAT WE WOULD NOT BE BULLIED, THEY BREACHED THEIR CONTRACT BY PULLING THEIR PERMIT. THIS FORCED THE NYC DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS TO PLACE A STOP WORK ORDER ON OUR PROPERTY! When the job started his workers took long cigarette breaks and spent lots of time in the backyard on their cell phones instead of working. We were left with the smell of urine in our backyard and countless cigarette butts all over. His workers graffitied the walls with words like “David loves ********,” and “David loves Juny.” They were aware that we would move into the house by March 1st but they didn’t care! Since we moved in, we’ve had to live in a construction zone; exposed to dirt, dust and hazardous conditions throughout the house (i.e. exposed wires). Our living room has become a storage area for the furniture that should be in the basement, which remains incomplete. We can not get comfortable in our own home. Charles Thomas Cocchiola Jr. started this company 15 years ago with the intentions of giving people a worry free home remodeling experience with exceptional attention to detail. 25 years of real field experience in many aspects of construction helps to keep jobs flowing from trade to trade. My knowledge with foundation work straight thru to painting helps foresee any upcoming problems and strives to guarantee each field's work is done to the highest standards.

"For years my wife and I scratched and saved every penny we could in order to redo our house into the home we always wanted. In the beginning of 2020, we decided it was time. We got a few estimates and then found Charles, who in the beginning seemed to be the contractor you always wanted. Attentive, decently price, had the answers, and showed pictures of quality work. In March we broken ground, and again, in the beginning of the project it was going great. Framing and siding was great. Work was being done, Charles was on scene, and in touch every day. ****, we even had a few happy hours at the end of the workday. Then things began to fall apart. Charles for whatever reason, started to become overwhelmed. His attitude, more specifically with my wife, began to become nasty. The work not only slowed but became sloppy and filled with short cuts. Charles went from the contractor with all the answers, to the man with every excuse possible. The excuses piled up and the work came to a standstill. But Charles still wanted his money, even when projects were not completed. But like I said, we had a good relationship, so we paid him for the tile work, even though the kitchen was not tiled yet, and we paid when he asked for the molding payment, even though all the molding was not done. Unfortunately we trusted Charles, and his promise that it would get done with in the week. As our 3–4 month project enter its 6th month with no real energy from Charles to complete his work, he again started to ask for more money. I finally said no. No more money until things that were paid for are finished or fixed (and there were a lot). A reasonable request. This is when the real Charles came out. The arrogance and refusal to acknowledge that what was going on was his fault. Charles refused to come to complete my house, and in December sent a text message to my wife asking to be released from his contract. He has never returned He left my house a danger zone for three young kids. There were electric issues that if left alone would have caused a fire, plumbing issues that could have flooded my house, a crumbling foundation and at least 30,000 dollars worth of unfinished work or work that needed to be redone. Message me privately and I will gladly show pictures and more to the story. What I have realized, is the things my wife and I loved in beginning of our project were done by people other than Charles. A framing company framed our house. Siding was done by siding company. Charles only does molding when his uncle is working. His cousin paints (terribly). I can go on and on but will end with this truth; eventually you figure out that Charles is a bundle of nerves and cannot complete work without other people's confidence. So consumer beware, if you're looking for a big project do not look here for a contractor."

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Rotting wood, frame misalignment, or damaged seals often require attention.

Neglecting to repair or replace a sagging floor can expose you to the risk of injury and your home to serious structural damage. When sagging floors are caused by termites, water damage, or weak foundations, holding off on completing the work can lead to a more costly repair bill as the problem can worsen over time.

Yes, professionals re-mount and realign antennas for optimal signal reception.

There are approximately 5.33 board feet in a 2x4. You can use the board foot calculator in this article to easily find the answer. A 2x4 is 2 inches of thickness by 4 inches of width, so you need to find the length, with 8 feet being the most common. You’d use the calculator here to multiply 2 times 4 times 8, and then divide by 12, arriving at a total of 5.33 board feet.

Any issue that affects the structural integrity or soundness of a home is considered a structural issue. In addition to foundation cracks, other signs of structural issues include roof leaks, bowing walls, sloping floors, gaps around windows and doors, and more.
